After being confirmed as Torchwood's entrants today, Amy Studt made some rather controversial comments about Skall's political policy. After calling it the "weirdest country ever", Studt went on to argue she would never represent a country run under the dictatorship of the Harve. More on this later...

Ok, after very little thought :heehee:, Skall have decided to send Passion Pit- Better Things for BJSC XIV. The Chunk Of Change EP has been a huge hit in Skall's charts, with Sleepyhead debuting at #1- only the second song achieve that. Moreover, Smile Upon Me and Better Things have been much better recieved than Sleepyhead, and in Passion Pit could end up with 3 songs in Skall's top 10 on Tuesday. Passion Pit continue the male group attribute that all 3 male entries have, though this time the vocals are even higher pitched than that of the average female. Skall doesn't hope for major success, and considers making the final to be satisfactory, top 15 would be incredible. Skall hopes that the rest of Buzzjack appreciate that Skall have chosen a fairly unknown song, going against the apparant theme this contest of upcoming pre-release songs from big names- although the discussions in the Buzzjack headquarters have attracted 411 views; a decent amount of attention. Better Things is perhaps the most upbeat song on the EP and bears slight resemblance to MGMT and Empire Of The Sun.

I'm not sure where the other 3 songs went? :lol: I don't think they would've got points anyway. Twas a very high quality final indeed. I wouldn't have minded giving Ashton points at all :o

After flopping again in XVI, unsurprisingly Skall continue to send artists on suicide runs into BJSC....

 

The next in line may be The Days - No Ties, but considering previous entries Skall will probably ignore any considerations made beforehand :lol:.

I love Phoenix but can't say I'm quite as passionate about 'The Days' - their a bit too samey with their pop-indie for me

I dislike The Days. I quite like Phoenix but can't say I'm a big fan, probably wouldn't of got any points from me in such a good final.
