Pixie was by no means a flop. :lol: Though it obviously wasn't memorable to you if you're suggesting Rich will flop '3 times in a row'. :P

 

Personally I'm hoping for another Pixie rather than a Sanna. Scandi-Pop doesn't do that much for me, I usually like them but not enough - Maria and Mira were exceptions. :lol:

Rontvia will have a hit next time round. In the last six contests they've gone hit-flop-hit-flop-hit-flop, so if that patern continues a hit for Rontvia in BJSC12.

This looks a lot of fun... almost makes me want to form a country and enter a song myself in January.

 

Particularly liked the build-up to 7pm when the semi-final results were announced live. Maybe next time you get Graham Norton to do this? B)

 

Some good songs are hiding in these threads. I *loved* the October, or was it November winner from Lenka, which is now charting high in my Radio Newtown Top 20, and a possible Christmas number one.

 

Like many have noted, though, the standard this month isn't quite as high, though I love the idea of Ra ra rasputin being in the final! :dance:

 

You do know that guy on stage isn't really singing don't you? :P

 

Radio Newtown will now study its budget and decide whether we can afford to stage a national final and send a contestant to BSC XIII....

I like the song and we may change tact as a country - it's just it's already a hit to me as its all over Radio 1 getting airplay aplenty so got an automatic 0 points. Otherwise would have been easily in our top 10.

I wasn't the keenest, think it struggled to go anywhere fast, however positions 5-10 on my list were virtually tied and I has to resort to 1/4 points to separate most of them and even then you still ended up tied and lost out on one position higher on a coin toss.

The songs that got all the negative criticism are some that I actually really like and gave points to. That's the reason for my last minute voting because imo this contest is the best quality yet. I expected Rontvia, Tinnmark, Rivandia and Nick to get through, all really high quality song that I'd give points to. Also a shame for Deandria. I actually am quite shocked I got through this time and didnt get through with Jamali previous contest. :o Pavel you rock with the hosting. Good luck all :o :cheer:

I'm getting a very bad case of deja vu here :cry: the same thing happened in BJSCX when everyone thought that Headhunted was liked until it turned out that actually only half of people did :lol:

 

there are some songs in the final that I'm completely indifferent to...which I listened to 4 times and I still can't hum a note of - but I shall save these thoughts until the live final :P
