#75 // Mary J Blige - Just Fine

Chart Run: 25-16-14-12-11-09-12-18-28-38

A fabulous song from MJB, really uplifting!

#74 // Will.I.Am - Heartbreaker

Chart Run: 29-24-18-08-05-08-14-29-32

Decent catchy song from Will.I.Am that didn't really need Cheryl Cole's mutterings put on it tbh. Still a decent song nonetheless, gets boring very quickly though.

#73 // Brandy - Right Here (Departed)

Chart Run: 21-17-08-07-12-17-19-17-20-18-31-36

A really great comeback by Brandy that really should've been a hit. The only thing about it is that for me it gets old fairly quickly. It is still a great song though.

#72 // Estelle Ft. Kanye West - American Boy

Chart Run: 38-24-21-14-06-05-07-17-22-27-36-40

The most overrated song of the year for me, I do really like it but srsly it's not half as good as some people make it out to be :/. Still a nice song though and it's great to dance to too.

#71 // Gym Class Heroes - Cookie Jar

Chart Run: 30-24-09-08-07-17-19-20-21-25-27-30-35

Another decent comeback, this time from Gym Class Heroes and I think this is actually my fave song from them tbh! So insanely catchy and addictive. Great on a night out too!

I love that Mary J Blige song. I was actually quite surprised that I liked some of her album too as not really my cup of tea.

And I shall be hexing everybody who puts Beaver Face's 'American $h!t' in their charts

Nah great chart stilleth.

And so agree about 'Heartbreaker'. Obviously Cheryl's presence was the reason why it did so well but her input just seemed pretty pointless to me
Loved Just Fine, one of Mary's best IMO. Really like Right Here and American Boy aswell, Heartbreaker was overated though.
Cookie Jar  American Boy

#70 // Ne*Yo - Miss Independent

Chart Run: 08-07-09-09-18-17-21-22-27-29

The first of two appearances from Ne*Yo in by YTD 100 (I'm sure you can guess what the other is). This was really subtle yet catchy and had a great video to go with it.

#69 // Alphabeat - 10,000 Nights

Chart Run: 22-14-05-08-09-12-19-24-33-37

Definetly my least favourite from Alphabeat but obviously I still like it alot, it's really catchy pop and the Bimbo Jones remix of it is just amaze.

#68 // Christina Aguilera - Keeps Gettin' Better

Chart Run: 25-16-14-10-10-09-07-12-17-26-37

I have a love/hate relationship with this song, sometimes I think it's godawful and sometimes I'll think it's brilliant! I'd probably like it more if it wasn't for the whole Lady GaGa rip off thing, still a decent catchy song. Could've came back a bit stronger though.

#67 // Gabriella Cilmi - Sweet About Me

Chart Run: 31-23-18-13-12-18-25-32-X-30-17-10-09-13-23-32-34-38

I would like this song so much more if it didn't become ridiculously overplayed, I actually liked it alot more before it was featured in that advert :P Still a decent song though.

#66 // Wideboys Ft. Shaznay Lewis - Daddy Oh

Chart Run: 21-17-15-12-09-08-07-17-32-37

One of this years most underrated dance songs I think, I love it and I have always loved Shaznay Lewis too. Just so catchy and the production is really good too.

Daddy Oh

Bimbo Jones remixes of Alphabeat songs are cheap and tacky :(

Unlike most people i was in love with Sweet About Me in about Feburary so by June is was very old for me, much orefer Save The Lies aswell. Daddy O is great though, should have done so much better.

#65 // Miley Cyrus - 7 Things

Chart Run: 37-35-08-09-13-16-23-30-33-38

The second and final appearance from Miley on my YTD 100 :heehee: But this is really good and much better than 'See You Again' imo, it's infectious and she's definetly teen pop at it's best I think.

#64 // Lemar - If She Knew

Chart Run: 22-16-15-13-08-10-12-20-26-36

I've always really liked Lemar, he's a breath of fresh air to the kinda dead British R&B scene [well at the moment at least]. His previous comeback was kinda disappointing but I really like this, perfect synthy RnB ballad and is what he just needed.

#63 // Guru Josh Project - Infinity 2008

Chart Run: 23-08-06-11-14-18-25-34

One of the best dance songs this year imo. Just amazing to drunkenly dance to and the production is slick and really good. Shame for the slightly cringeworthy lyrics though.

#62 // Christian Falk Feat. Robyn - Dream On

Chart Run: 26-25-04-04-10-12-22-33

Amazing dreamy pop/dance song with great inspiring lyrics too I think. Robyn's vocals make this song too, I don't think it would've worked without her. Why this wasn't a huge Top 10 hit I'll never know.

#61 // Solange - Sandcastle Disco

Chart Run: 19-14-10-09-06-09-19-25

One of my favourite new artists of this year, this was the perfect summer song ... released in the winter LOL. But still I adore it and love it's simplicity, just a gorgeous song.

Solange deserved so much more with SD :( Not keen on her new one though!

Yeah Solange did deserve more :(

If she flopped with 'Sandcastle Disco', nothing will be a hit tbh.

Sandcastle Disco is gorgeous, and deserves much better, so did Dream On. Love 7 Things though, much better than See You Again.

#60 // Danity Kane - Bad Girl

Chart Run: 18-08-06-07-11-17-26-32-38

Amaze song from a suprisingly amazing album! This is actually better than 'Damaged' I think ;o. The whole synthy, sexy RnB feel to it really makes the song. Shame it failed to do ANYTHING in the US and now they've split up or w/e, oh and the video is rather sexual too.

#59 // Cassie - Is It You?

Chart Run: 32-22-14-12-12-14-15-15-24-32-34-37-26-10-12-21-33-37-38

Aaah I do love Cassie, this and her previous two singles were srsly amazing. Shame this didn't get a full release or any promotion, woulda done quite well I think if it did!

#58 // Kylie Minogue - In My Arms

Chart Run: 23-08-07-06-11-11-18-22-35-38

Best Kylie single in a LONG time. Definetly the best from this kinda $h!tty era, she should do more songs like this I think.

#57 // Mariah Carey - Touch My Body

Chart Run: 29-15-11-07-06-06-12-20-24-35-39

I actually love this comeback from Mariah strangely enough, it's full of many innuendos and it's just fun pop, shame she's kinda made a mess out of her album though.

#56 // Alicia Keys - Like You'll Never See Me Again

Chart Run: 24-16-08-07-06-06-11-20-30-39

Another song that may seem suprisingly high to some people but I love it . So gorgeous and I love the lyrics and video to it too. Go Alicia!

Was never too keen on Bad Girl, Damaged was a lot better. In My Arms is amazing though, best thing on the X album. I like Never See Me Again but it was an appalling choice of single.
