Yeah. I randomly heard it on the radio today and went 'ah bjsc!'. Its a bit alternative and a bit pop rock. The video is also kewl. Hoping it will do well. . A bit of risk. I never saw Hakimakli doing well because most would probably ignore it cause its French. .

As far as I remember, One Republic - Say All I Need came dead last in one of the semi finals before with like 10 points. Although Jonjo would probs give you 12 giving OR a better BJSC record :heehee:

Hmm...not sure what I think of 'O...Saya' going for 'Every Little Earthquake', I know which I prefer. :/

 

I think it's the song I should have gone for last month if I was thinking with my brain, rather than my ears, as it seems like the song most people will like. But, of the 5 I've heard, this was my 4th favourite so I didn't think it was a good idea. It's still good but Mdice are probably just in for points rather than 'OMG 12'.

 

This was meant to be the month where 'O...Saya' and 'Gifted' were fighting for my 12! D:

O...Saya is absolutely amazing but I just didn't think it would click with BJSC. No one really dug it anyway, and M.I.A. doesn't come in till halfway through the song. Unfortunate, but people wouldn't probably get through the first minute of it before thinking it was awful. Sad because the entire song is epic and amazing, but true. I might definitely reconsider when Slumdog Millionaire gets a wide release in the UK, as seeing that movie takes O...Saya to a whole other level.

 

I've wanted to send Every Little Earthquake for a good two contests now as it's my favorite Little Boots song, but Jake / Tyron / You were always considering using her so I didn't want to tick anyone off, but as no one was going to use her this contest...I figure why not.

 

I don't see why it's a big deal tha I would like more points when you kept on mentioning a 3rd consecutive top 3 victory last contest and what song would achieve that for you? I don't want to send a song that's going to flop miserably, which I foresaw O...Saya doing (though I could be wrong). I don't care about going top 10, but I'd love not to be bottom 5. I realize she's been entered twice before, but eh eh there's nothing else I can say.

True, I forgot that a lot of people judge the songs on the first minute or so. That probably would harm it even though the whole song is good. I think Slumdog Millionaire goes to the cinemas here on Friday, I was wondering whether to go see it or not.

 

I think I missed something from one of my sentences it should have said "but Mdice are probably just in for points from me rather than 'OMG 12'. " as in, I don't like this as much but it'll still get points from me, just probably not a 12. I wasn't trying to suggest that you swapped because you were desperate to have another win/top 10 etc.
