December 21, 200816 yr Well Done to Geraldine McQueen the highest single in the 2008 UK Xmas chart that has not been performed on the free advert that is ruining the charts & the Xmas #1 each year X-Factor. Therefore to my mind it is the true Christmas #1. To think she had her own show too, to promote the song. Rich, I agree with Aaron, you really do confuse me about your feelings towards X Factor! I also don't get how people are moaning that songs, performed on X Factor are doing well, when I'm pretty much sure they're few of the people that are saying we need more shows to promote music on... (That bit wasn't directed at you in particular Rich ) Also... Poor Rich (Gooddelta). Lost out on his Number 2 bet :(
December 21, 200816 yr Totally love this, it just blows the original out of the water, very haunting ballad
December 21, 200816 yr Have Radio one ever played the studio version of this song? All they ever seem to play is the live lounge version!
December 21, 200816 yr Is this a live version of Run? edit: nvm. Edited December 21, 200816 yr by Joao Filipe
December 21, 200816 yr *turns off the SP version you're playing and unmutes radio* Her voice is all over the place. No thank you.
December 21, 200816 yr If you say so. Never mind that 'Run' was performed over a month ago, a few weeks before it was available to purchase as a single and you could argue that Jeff didn't exactly perform on the X Factor, even if it is charting because of what the #1 is. Was the song Run performed on X-Factor before the download was released? Answer Yes Was the song If I Was A Boy performed on X-Factor the week before it rebounded this week back up the chart? Answer Yes Was the song Hallelujah performed on X Factor last week three times? Answer Yes Since that Simon Cowell show is watched by a captive 12 million+ viewers each week that gives the songs performed on it a rather unfair advantage in promoting a track.
December 21, 200816 yr Have Radio one ever played the studio version of this song? All they ever seem to play is the live lounge version! Its like Hot N Cold, are they ever going to play the real version!
