December 23, 200817 yr Not really expecting anything today as there never usually is in the last week of the year-but technically, since holidays haven't started yet (I'll be working tomorrow :( ) there should be midweeks. however, there probably won't be.
December 23, 200817 yr Shame - Was hoping to see what was happening in the album charts - Could be very interesting to see where GA and Beyonce are...

December 23, 200817 yr Can I put in a request that in the unlikely event of any chart news this afternoon you can let me and Yanto30 know where Rhydian is. Ta very much
December 23, 200817 yr Alexandra is still number one (no surprise) according to the Heat website... "We think that Alexandra Burke will be enjoying the festive season more than most this year – not only has she bagged the coveted Christmas number one spot, but it looks like it’s impossible for anyone to knock Hallelujah off the top of the charts any time soon. The latest midweek charts have just come in, and already this week (and it’s only Tuesday lunchtime!), Alex has sold over 100,000 copies. It seems people may have been buying the single as a last-minute stocking filler yesterday, as over 80,000 of those sales are of the CD version, rather than the download. Things are changing elsewhere in the top ten though – it’s all very close, but Geraldine’s Once Upon A Christmas Song now sits at two (but is WAY behind Alexandra, at just over 13,000 copies), with Leona at three, and Jeff Buckley’s version of Hallelujah at four. What CDs are you hoping to find in your stocking this year? And what have been your musical highlights of 2008?" 1. Alexandra Burke - 100k+ (Impressive physical sales!) 2. Geraldine 13k 3. Leona Lewis 4. Jeff Buckley Edited December 23, 200817 yr by RPM
December 23, 200817 yr Interesting :o No news on Gabs then, but I'm surprised Geraldine is at two :o It'll probably fall behind Leona by the end of the week.

December 23, 200817 yr Geraldine at two? :o Can see her falling though as she is tumbling down fast in the I Tunes chart...
December 23, 200817 yr I don't think MW are going to bother to update the site considering there won't be any other mids after today.
December 23, 200817 yr I can't really believe that 100k figure. That means that she'll sell another 300k this week, which gives a chance of 1 million :o
December 23, 200817 yr I can't really believe that 100k figure. That means that she'll sell another 300k this week, which gives a chance of 1 million :o Well, it was the last Sunday before Xmas, with all shops open and people going Xmas shopping at last minute, so I wouldn't be that surprise if it's true :)
