I am not sure if he's on..My pop Bars have updated twice today, although there always an update behind.

He usually posts about 1:30am so maybe he will do the same tonight..

I will shut up about Pop bars now :D ..Usually someone's has updated that's all and they say whats going on rather than posting the bars.

Awww i am dead pleased for sats overtaking Run,

That is a massive achievement because Run is allover radio right now.

Maybe the Saturdays do have a future after all. The album is far from being a huge success but 3 top 10 singles is impressive in this era. Though I suppose they were sensible to do two singles before the album.

... to put it into perspective Run has already sold over 400k on its own and nearly 800k of the deluxe album - if anything it's a surprise it has lasted so long! Radio 1 has already dropped it from the playlist and it's been top 3 of iTunes for the best part of 6 weeks.

Really happy for The Saturdays though - it's by far the best of the three girlband tracks currently in the charts.

But regardless of what leona has already sold, radio is still bum licking leona like they always do whereas the sats have original material thats being ignored by some stations and is still managing to be a massive success so credit goes to them i'm afraid -_-

Where wasn't I giving them credit? I really like the singles they've brought out - I think they're a refreshing change to what had become a slightly tired girl group scene.

I was merely pointing out that after such huge sales it's more of a surprise Run hasn't dropped down further. It would apply to ANY record to take the artist out of this. There is no regardless as you can't take this weeks sales out of context of when the song was released and how much it has sold already.

On the airplay front I've heard Issues loads this week - seems like they're partial to a bit of bum licking themselves ;)

It's a bit pathetic to say that Artists are "bum licking" radio station to get their song played, I always understood that Radio stations played what the listers wanted or what they liked / felt was good for the station.

Issues is clearly a radio song..Instead of the pop beat, it's more of a ballad so it's bound to get played much more in mornings during rush hours driving to work etc...

:D

Run is ahead now..but anyway considering Th Sat have a physical release, could be ahead in the official

Couldn't agree more.

I really like how The Saturdays have been debuted these last few months - good singles, videos that work, strong band identity, accessible yet not tipping over into desperate for publicity. It's been an impressively handled launch and should guarantee them a nice chart career I think.

Totally agree - One of the most successful pop launches for a long long time (If you discount reality TV winners)

Still feeling nervous about Girls Aloud, even if it is within the Top 20.

PS: My poor finger is tired from the sheer amount of scrolling, because of some HUGE signatures!!
