April 26, 200917 yr Author Amerie - What Aled said Christina - DEFINATELY what Aled said Ciara - Not at all. Get Up, Promise . Us Against The World :puke2: Eve - TAMBOURINE "Promise" is rubbish, "Get Up" wasn't so bad after all... I totally don't know "Tambourine". :o ^Yeap, thats basically it as far as great songs from Christina goes. Ehh she has about three other good songs. I used to love "AM To PM", I'd try to catch it on the music channels.
April 28, 200917 yr Author Be thankful that you dont know it Aaron. Be thankful. LOL, I didn't think she was that bad. I like her on a few songs at least...
April 28, 200917 yr How could you not have heard or not like Tambourine? :| It was like... #13? :o Edited April 28, 200917 yr by Harve
April 29, 200917 yr Author How could you not have heard or not like Tambourine? :| It was like... #13? :o You're forgetting. I basically ignored the charts from like 2000/1 to when 'Bleeding Love' was released. :heehee:
April 30, 200917 yr You're forgetting. I basically ignored the charts from like 2000/1 to when 'Bleeding Love' was released. :heehee: I can't believe you liked music when you were like... 8. I only really got into it about 3 years ago and my taste has gone more places than yours has ever gone since :heehee: (/notTRYINGtocomeaccrossassnobby)

I only really got into it about 3 years ago and my taste has gone more places than yours has ever gone since :heehee: (/notTRYINGtocomeaccrossassnobby) Probably more like 6/7 really when the Spice Girls released "Wannabe". The Spice Girls got me into music really, I fell for the whole 'Spicemania' and 'Girl Power' thing. :( But I vaguely liked music before that, apparently I used to sing "I Will Always Love You" to my Nan LOL. For where my taste started I've gone a long way. :( I've gone from obsessing over Spice Girls, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Destiny's Child, Mariah Carey, TLC, Shania Twain, Steps, B*Witched, Lolly and Daphne & Celeste to...well I will enjoy all but the last two occasionally. :( But that's not the point! It's quite weird, now I'm associated with black females and Mariah, but I didn't actually listen to many back then. It's not like Beverley Knight and Brandy didn't exist in the late 90s. :o So I guess you could say I've gone from white fem-pop to black fem-pop/R&B? :(

I'm kinda jealous of you getting into music when you were 6/7 . I really only got into music in Mid 2006, and that was through flicking through music videos and stuff. Oh B*witched . OK my 'journey' :heehee:. I start off with a more urbanised version of what you listen to :o. Then when 2007 came about i got all cheesy-dancey. The first alternative song i REALLY liked was Hadouken! - Declaration Of War in spring 08 :o. I've gone all alternative poppy now i guess, i wonder where next :o

Up until then music WAS Spice Girls or whatever my parents played. (such as Oasis :puke2: and Whitney) You seem rather late getting into music, I used to watch music videos a lot but (again) I can only remember Spice Girls ones from before 1999. :s Do you like B*Witched?! :o I think "To You I Belong" is still great. I think the younger Harve sounds better! :kink: Bring back UrbanHarve. :( It seems you started off a little after where I am now musically, so by 2012 I should be into alternative pop.

So more like 2021 :heehee: Yeah Aaron it's yet ANOTHER case of being easily manipulated :(.

I would hope that I like that sort of music by the time I'm 31. :( I can't imagine me still listening to Estelle and Mariah Carey then - maybe Bev still. Plus the Spice Girls would be like 25 years old, how embarrassing. I just thought, that lot wont be making music in 2021. Who will I like then?! :drama:

So they'll be all sorts of artists that're probably still in primary school now :o. I can only imagine it getting better though, yes? Normally people who say that old music is better are miserable gits  Why do you want to like that sort of music when you're 31 anyway? :o You can't force yourself :S Edited May 3, 200917 yr by Harve

Estelle was unheard of in 2003. :o I suppose it can get better, I just can't imagine Bev not making music any more. :( I'm gonna be one of those miserable gits pining for the days when Beverley Knight was releasing when I older. I dunno, I guess it seems weird to me for a man in his 30s to like Pop/R&B females. That's the age where you should be listening to Coldplay. :(

I hope I'm like Jo Whiley and still like popular music when I'm like 50. I never want to be one of those people who get stuck in their times with music. -_-
