Lady Gaga looks set to enter the top five with her debut album The Fame (Polydor) this Sunday, while her single Just Dance should spend a second week at number one.

The Fame sold around 4,5000 units on its day of release yesterday, enough to put it within the top five of the OCC midweek figures, behind Kings Of Leon, The Script and Duffy.

This would make The Fame the highest new entry this week, ahead of Domino’s Animal Collective, whose acclaimed new album Merriweather Post Pavilion should challenge for a top ten placing.

The only other new entry within the top forty is set to come from Roger Whittaker, with greatest hits set The Golden Age Of (UMTV).

On the singles chart, Kid Cudi looks set for a double top forty placing with the same song, Day N Nite. In a remixed form (as Kid Cudi Versus Crookers and released by Data) the track should chart within the top five. At the same time the original, released by Island currently as download only, should make the lower reaches of the forty.

The only other new release in the singles chart this Sunday is likely to be the much-tipped White Lies, whose To Lose My Life should debut in the top thirty.

Monday Predictions:

01 - Lady Gaga

02 - James Morrison

03 - The Saturdays

04 - Kid Cudi

05 - Kevin Rudolf

13 - Girls Aloud

18 - Ne-Yo

31 - Alesha Dixon

32 - P!nk

Albums:

01 - Lady Gaga

Looks quite possible to me that Jonjo, though I say GA will be number 11. They will definitely climb through the week though. And I don't think Lady Gaga will be number one album, top 3 though probably.
I think Girls Aloud will be around 13 today but be 8 come sunday!

I don't think 'Pokerface' will be in the Top 40 today, that will start from tomorrow ^_^

Oh and here's hoping The Script climb with 'Breakeven' again :kink:

Hope Alesha climbs with 'Breathe Slow' - Song of the year (so far)!!

Hope so too for both, but I think it's over for Breakeven now... :(

Oh Well :nocheer: Roll on 'Talk You Down' :magic:

TYD is better than BE IMO

Saturdays will rise from last week to #5, maybe even #4 which would give them their best chart position yet, i think

Yeah but think they may fall by the end of the week to about 7

Yeah but think they may fall by the end of the week to about 7

don't say that :arrr:

18 - Alesha Dixon - Breathe Slow (Based on the fact that she just told me her midweek is now 20+3) Woo!
don't say that :arrr:

Dont get me wrong, i'd love it to climb but can see it falling to seven or stalling at six come sunday as it is starting to fall on i tunes. It will defo be top five today though!!!

Anyway, i'm way more worried about Girls Aloud this week - I just pray they are top ten!!

WOW!

The Sats are doing fantastically!

I really Hope they manage to hold onto #4 in Main chart, it would be there best ever position! :D

Kid Cudi is easily going to get the Number 1, I thought he would have been around #5, he has only been in the top 10 on Itunes for a little bit so is bound to climb now..

Girls Aloud are just hanging in to the top 10, they could possibly fall out if they keep falling on Itunes.

OMFG..GO GAGA NUMBER 1 ALBUM HERE WE COME! SHES AMAZING

Edited by Chris J.

OMFG GA TOP TEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer: :yahoo:

Lets hope they stay there or climb even higher come Sunday - I am so so pleased though!!!

And thought Alesha was higher according to the lady herself?? :D
