January 21, 200917 yr yay for Taylor. What is that John Travolta and Miley Cyrus collab? ...I think it's from the film "Bolt" which is going to be 3D... jcs4WaqMcLQ
January 21, 200917 yr Pleased to see Raphael Saadiq added to Radio 2 :D GOD knows why they're both all over that new U2 single though. It's AWFUL. Their worst lead single for as long as I can remember.
January 21, 200917 yr Pleased to see Raphael Saadiq added to Radio 2 :D GOD knows why they're both all over that new U2 single though. It's AWFUL. Their worst lead single for as long as I can remember.Agreed well, 'Vertigo' has always been awful and this is better than 'Vertigo' but not much...
January 21, 200917 yr I liked Vertigo! It was alright. Catchy and with a pleasingly-ridiculous video. 'Get Your Boots On' or whatever it's called SUCKS. It could not be more of a Muse clone if it tried, except it isn't subtle whatsoever.
January 21, 200917 yr You are aware James Morrison was released in December aren't you?? Fully aware - just feels an early drop given it's chart position and that some of its run will have been affected by the two week Xmas hiatus.
January 21, 200917 yr wow so suprised radio 1 have ditched girls aloud but left the saturdays as a list.
January 21, 200917 yr Author I hated Vertigo, so I'm not expecting much of the new single. The last lead single I liked by them was Beautiful Day way back in 2000.
January 21, 200917 yr I LOVE the new U2 single Haven't been that much of a fan before but GOYB is great. The intro especially
January 21, 200917 yr Ok just a question. I know that the number of spins a song detemines what list they are on. But are all of the songs listed played pretty frequently, or is their a major difference between each group?
January 21, 200917 yr The new U2 single is weird. It's U2 so ofc Radio 1 and 2 are going to be all over it. I can see where some people are getting the Vertigo comparisons as the riffs are quite similar, but get On Your Boots is just a weird track. I think it's quite good, but i'm not sure, it just seems wrong for U2 to be singing suck a funky song? It's very pop. I know it's getting absolutely tons of stick though, but you always expect that when a big act comes back with a new lead single.
January 21, 200917 yr From what I recall, C-list is 5 plays a week, B 10, and A 20+. Might be a bit off though... 1-Upfront songs can be played as often as the DJ wants.
January 21, 200917 yr Wow that's it? One radio stations in America average around 80-90 spins a week for the top 3. And atleast 50 spins for the entire top ten... You all must have an utter load of commericals.
