February 6, 200916 yr No Good Advice perhaps Josh, but not Life Got Cold. It's pretty much entirely forgotten today... and Jump can't be a 'classic 21st century British pop song' when it was a cover of a song from 1984... LOL. But it was that rarest of things ... a cover that was better than the original. (Unlike their covers of The Pretenders I'll Stand By You; Aerosmith's Walk This Way & Tommy James & the Shondells I Think We're Alone Now (made more famous by Tiffany)) And probably explains why it was their best selling international single outside of the UK & Ireland to date.
February 6, 200916 yr If This Is Love vs. Sound Of The Underground vs. Overload Up vs. No Good Advice vs. New Year Issues vs. Life Got Cold vs. Run For Cover Work vs. Jump vs. Soul Sound 2-2-0 then. Chasing Lights is far superier to the debuts from the Sugababes and Girls Aloud's debuts and is also a lot better than the recent albums from both of them aswell. If This Is Love is of course a weak lead single and most of the album is a lot better.
February 6, 200916 yr 'If This is Love' is 2nd worst IMO! Just ahead of 'Vulnerable' for me! If This Is Love vs. Sound Of The Underground vs. Overload Up vs. No Good Advice vs. New Year Issues vs. Life Got Cold vs. Run For Cover Work vs. Jump vs. Soul Sound 3-1-0 The Hardest one for me (Personally) was 'Issues' vs 'Run for Cover' [LGC is my least fave GA single EVER!] I love them both, but 'Issues' JUST wins it for me!
February 6, 200916 yr If This Is Love vs. Sound Of The Underground vs. Overload Up vs. No Good Advice vs. New Year Issues vs. Life Got Cold vs. Run For Cover Work vs. Jump vs. Soul Sound 1-3-0 for me - SOTU was a brilliant debut, Up vs No Good Advice is very tough, Issues wins out over LGC (even though I love it) and Jump gets it over Work. Poor Sugababes though, as a fan the examples above are not amoung their best songs.
February 6, 200916 yr well if this is the game youre playing overload ............. the best track in the list. no good advice life got cold ..... a very underated song imho... wistful, melancholy, great! cant comment on the 4th because i dont know 'work' and 1 listening wouldnt do it justice.
February 6, 200916 yr Mind you if you'd posted the first 4 Spice Girls singles it would be 4 - 0 - 0 - 0 to the Spices. mine wouldnt, the only spice girls track i like was 'spice up your life'... and IMHO it was only ok at best, but thats a personal point of view.
February 6, 200916 yr For me... If This Is Love vs. Sound Of The Underground vs. Overload Up vs. No Good Advice vs. New Year ('No Good Advice' and 'Up' are both great pop gems, it's just that 'No Good Advice' is one of my favourite songs ever) Issues vs. Life Got Cold vs. Run For Cover Work vs. Jump vs. Soul Sound
February 6, 200916 yr If This Is Love vs. Sound Of The Underground vs. Overload Up vs. No Good Advice vs. New Year Issues vs. Life Got Cold vs. Run For Cover Work vs. Jump vs. Soul Sound 0 - 2 - 2 Overall I think Girls Aloud are the best of the lot but apart from the last two albums I've also been a big fan of the Sugababes and still think One Touch is their best album meanwhile The Saturdays haven't impressed me yet at all! Though my favourite tracks by them and the only ones I really like aren't singles. (Lies and Chasing Lights)
February 6, 200916 yr At the end of the day, The Sats are just a fluffy, insubstantial girly pop act and probably wont be around in a few years' time whereas, Coldplay have already bored us all sh!tless for the best part of a decade, and will probaby continue to bore everyone sh"tless and destroy the once-good name of Indie/Alt Rock for another decade, which I personally find far more offensive..... You say Coldplay have bored everyone, yet you're talking up DEPECHE MODE? When was the last time they did anything interesting? Walking In My Shoes from 1993? Anyway, Just Can't Get Enough is, by most standards, a fluffy insubstantial song, and all the better for that it is too. -- Richard

February 6, 200916 yr Have their chests been airbrushed out or do none of them have one? LOL I never noticed that
February 6, 200916 yr If This Is Love vs. Sound Of The Underground vs. Overload - Sats debut was the weakest one, even though it's not a bad song. :D Up vs. No Good Advice vs. New Year Issues vs. Life Got Cold vs. Run For Cover - LGC and RFC are in the same level. Work vs. Jump vs. Soul Sound 2-2-0 Round Round and Push The Button though will pwn almost everything above!
February 6, 200916 yr You say Coldplay have bored everyone, yet you're talking up DEPECHE MODE? When was the last time they did anything interesting? Walking In My Shoes from 1993? I can only presume the incredible 'Ultra' album passed you by? Or the pretty damn amazing Playing The Angel? Plus - their new single, Wrong..... one of their best singles. Ever.

February 6, 200916 yr There really is no need to be SO rude/awful about them  Repeating the word t***** in accompanyment with various other insults isn't particularly impressive... They're lovely-looking girls: http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2009/2/6/1233878622584/The-Saturdays-001.jpg
February 6, 200916 yr I could list about 4953497 girl groups/artists who dress "slutty" as it were. Lady GaGa being one, yet she gets no stick? Whys that?
February 6, 200916 yr I can only presume the incredible 'Ultra' album passed you by? Or the pretty damn amazing Playing The Angel? I was about to say the same, Ultra and Playing The Angel are both very stellar and brilliant albums, and 'Useless' from the Ultra album is my favourite song of theirs. Not to mention both albums are leaps and bounds ahead of anything Coldplay could ever dream of doing (if comparisons are to be made...)

The others not so much, but I don't see how any of em look like trannies.
February 6, 200916 yr I could list about 4953497 girl groups/artists who dress "slutty" as it were. Lady GaGa being one, yet she gets no stick? Whys that? One will be Mariah Carey :puke2: BTW, there aren't as much GaGa haters as Sats haters so she actually gets a stick from guests. :D I'm using the word "hater" to describe those who simply don't like them and are ignorant. There really is no need to be SO rude/awful about them  Repeating the word t***** in accompanyment with various other insults isn't particularly impressive... February 6, 200916 yr The t***** on the right...isn't it Kemal from Big Brother? And words fail me for the t***** second from the right...Jeeeezus...she's vile. Harsh.................................................................... but funny. The t***** second from the right as you call it does remind me of someone else though especially with that toothy grin. http://www.smh.com.au/ffximage/2005/05/18/kyliecharlene_gallery__300x428.jpg Whatever happened to Charlene (The Car Mechanic) from that Aussie soap Neighbours? If only she had a half decent voice she could have gone far.
