The bottom line is if she had taken up the health checks that are available to all females of the age of 25 and over she would be alive to see her children grow up. For Max Clifford & Jade Goody and Murdoch Inc to claim that her imminent death is the fault of the NHS and therefore the British Government is hugely offensive IMHO. As for these cervical cancer checks that will be available for 18 - 25 year olds then who is going to pay for the extra £185 million per annum cost? Answer: The already put upon British Tax payer. When you consider the percentage of females who get cervical cancer under the age of 25 makes up just 1.3% of all females who get cervical cancer, then I regard this as a huge waste of British tax payers money that will doubtless result in cuts in other areas of the NHS to services of a far greater benefit to the poor sufferers. I would be fascinated if anyone can find a link to any public statement that Jade has made with regards to getting the rules changed on screening, likewise I would be fascinated to see any links to articles where Max has campaigned for lowering of the age, to make himself and Jade out to be campaigning heroes is nauseating beyond belief when they have done bugger all to personally campaign for lower ages, likewise if Jade had made donations to cancer charity then Max would be shouting about it from the rooftops so it hasn't happened, Jade and Max have done all this for Jade and Max's bank accounts so for them to claim they are heroic cancer crusaders who changed government policy is the biggest rewrite of history ever Jade received another lift when the Government announced a review to consider the benefits of cervical cancer screening for women under 25 in England. British reality show star Jade Goody has revealed that she ignored a letter stating that she needed to have abnormal cells removed from her cervix because she was too scared to go back to hospital. Goody, who is now fighting advanced cervical cancer, had already had three abnormal smear tests after enduring an operation to remove the cells, reports dailymail.co.uk. After her fourth abnormal smear, she ignored a letter urging her to return to hospital, instead hoping the disease would go away on its own. "When I heard I had more abnormal cells, I thought this is the fourth time I have been told I need to have the same operation now,” she told Heat Magazine. “Once you have them burnt off they should not come back, but I was too scared,” she added. It was after she collapsed from blood loss for the fourth time in four years, that she realised she couldn't ignore her condition. “The doctors were doing tests for my blood loss but they seemed unclear about what it could be. It was then that I was told I must have another operation on the dodgy cells on my cervix. They had sent a letter to me ages ago, telling that I needed to go in for an operation, but I had been too scared to do anything about it,” Goody confessed. Goody first had an abnormal smear test when she was 16-years-old. “Even before I was sexually active, I had to have pre-cancerous cells removed. That nearly traumatised me for life, it was so painful,” she contended. After collapsing early this month, Goody was warned that she could be facing a terminal illness, but she decided to go ahead to participate in the second season of Indian reality show Bigg Boss. She reasoned that the 100,000 pounds fee that she was getting would be needed to raise her two young sons if she fell ill. I fail to see anything wrong in my post nothing shameful at all, I just deal in realities and the reality is that she ignored a 4th letter thus wasting valuable time where the cancer could have been caught at an early stage, while I am not a doctor I think that there is a very good chance that had she not ignored that letter that her condition could have been caught at an earlier stage thus it is her fault in the same way as it was Diana's fault for travelling through Paris at over 100mph without a seatbelt I don't hate her in person, I made more than one post in this thread wishing her well, I can find it if you want :) but her death while sad will not change my life, I will not slag her off when she dies but likewise I won't shed any tears at her demise

March 15, 200916 yr It really has come to quick and in one way i would like if she slipped away tonight as with the rapid rate of her cancer i think she could go through tremendous amount of pain and id love she could avoid that,she has deterioted so much on the last few days im sure ots an awful time for the family and jade to as she seems to be fully aware still of whats happening

The former Big Brother contestant has arranged for a large screen to be erected outside the church so that the service can be watched by fans. Goody is said to have chosen an oak coffin from the Royal Windsor Forest and wants to be taken in a convoy of seven cars from her home to the St. John The Baptist Church in Buckhurst Hill, according to Metro. The convoy will rumouredly include a Daimler used by the late Queen Mother, and a Rolls-Royce used by the Sultan of Brunei. She has also chosen celebrity undertakers F. A. Albin & Sons from ITV1 documentary Don't Drop The Coffin and selected the hymn 'All Things Bright And Beautiful'. According to The Sun, nurses have told husband Jack Tweed and mother Jackiey Budden that Goody "will probably not wake up" the next time she falls into a deep sleep. "It's over. March 17, 200916 yr oh dear, she may not see the end of the week, or day break :o Such a shame, i was never her biggest fan but i had a little soft spot for Jade during BB. Not CBB obv. I do feel sorry for her children tho, they will be stuck with all this press attention as they grow up. I highly doubt they will be left in piece to grieve and grow up, which is the real sad part of this whole media circus. It's something i wouldn't wish upon anyone, and to go through it in a media storm and have your children not fully understanding what is going on must be horrific. Yes, she may have been able to prevent it, and yes she has brought a load of this storm on herself. But given the facts, maybe it's time the haters back off a little soon eh? It's not respectful to speak ill of the dead.
