I think they should go with a 2 cd release and have different b sides on them, that way it will be great for fans to get 2 new songs plus it would gain mor esales as fans will want both editions,i have afeeling untouchable will be the last single from out of control unless we get a deleuxe edition with new songs, but if it is the last single they should go all out to make it a reasonabale hit and end the massive out of control era on a great high.

^ Great idea, I would actually love if they did that.

Agree too, I cant imagine another single from OOC. Unless there is a deluxe come November time and a new song to launch it.

I dont think they are allowed (or should that be aloud), two cd's because universal wont allow it anymore, thats why we get 7".

And i really doubt they will put memory of you on as a b-side for two consecutive singles.

Remixes should be added to itunes (extra sales) and then they should put a brand new b-side on the cd only so that fans need to buy the cd but the sale will still go to untouchable. I have to confess, in the early days, i used to just download the b-sides from itunes because i already had the a-side tracks.

They could put Memory Of You as the b-side, even though it was used for TLK, but if it's featured on the CD it will make more people to buy it.

DOI is MAJOR promo and with Untouchable, possibly the best GA song ever? I reckon it'd shoot up into the top 20 early then stick around and peak top 5sh. MOY, still an amaze song, as a b-side wouldn't be that great, hardly worked wonders for TLK sales.. I think possibly a suprise new song for the b-side? If so can't wait.. TLK's whole release and the song in general was a bit dullsville for me according to GA standards but with this I think we could possibly even have a CTS no2, well a bit over optimistic but yew NEVER know =P

Memory Of You was on a limited edition 7". Many fans will want a HQ version of it so will certainly buy the CD...apparently Memory Of You is single quality

And The Loving Kind was better than The Promise and probably half of Girls Aloud's singles tbh, it only flopped (compared to The Promise/other Girls Aloud songs) due to the promo being a million years before the release, and the release being too close to The Promise's if you ask me, it was still living in The Promise's shadows. -_-

Where will we get the 7" from now? The company that ran the official shop went into administration and that's gone now, it just links to iTunes at the moment. Hopefully they'll have a replacement lined up in time for the Untouchable release.

The Promise >>>>>> TLK :P

Ohh then Memory Of You would be great but IMO the remix of Love Is Key on 7'' would be criminal! Why would they wanna put all the good songs on 7'' and not the cd itself? Mind blowing!

The Loving Kind hardly flopped. It went Top 10 and has outsold the likes of Sexy! No No No... (one of the most underrated singles ever I feel) and The Show....though that's mostly down to the fact sales were generally p*** poor when the latter was released.

A bigger incentive would be to put a brand new song on the cd.

Putting the same b-side on TLK and then untouchable is just a silly idea. They should leave MOY for the nxt album.

SO looking forward to this single  I'd like MOY as a b-side, but it is being very very very overhyped and I don't think it would actually be that big as a single (I do love it but everyone's going on as if it'd be number 1 for months!).

I'd like tracklist to be:

Single Edit

MOY

Anything recorded from GA Party (live)

That'd be enough for me  For the video... god knows, I need to wee just thinking of it

tHE RADIO MIX MUST BE DUE TO LEAK SOON? ESP IF IT'S BEING PERFORMED AT THE WEEKEND. THEY ARE SO STUPID PROMOTING THIS SO EARLY AGAIN - IT WILL BARELY SCRAPE TOP 10 NOW I THINK (SOZ BOUT CAPS, AT WORK LOL)

As it's been said, there are not many shows to promote the single at the end of April, especially considering they will be starting the tour at the same time. So it's better now than never, don't you think?

And the most imortant is to sell the album.

Aaaand the public won't care if the physical release is in over one month, if they like it, they'll download it, and that's all.

They also need to get it to crack the Top 120 on iTunes mainly. just like Katy Perry did with 'Waking Up in Vegas' at least by the time heavy promo schedule comes around, it'll be in the Top 120/200 on iTunes so it won't have to do as much work to break the Top 40 or whatever (Does anyone get what I mean LOL)

Yeah I think I agree, if you mean like when a single is released on a friday so it can gain momentum and maximise sales sun-sat the following week. i.e. it can take DAYS for a song to climb up iTunes (however popular) so entering prior to the big CD release is vital to maximise sales that week - it's almost like people don't search for songs, they just check if it's on the top 100 and buy it when it is (this is perhaps even more significant with the iTunes top 10 where every user see's the song's out as it's on the homepage). Sorry for waffling, hope it makes sense

LOL, yeah but Kate Perry is still on TOY getting a decent peak so WUIV charting for a week on downloads really doesnt help that much imo. Where I see 'Untouchable' needing to go top 20 after DOI, the physical release'll hardly make a difference so it'll need from next week onwards to SELL SELL SELL and ideally all it takes is for it to crack the iTunes top 10, seeing how static it is lately, once you're in it'll take 2months before you get out resulting in MASSIVE sales. I also think the radio mix alone is also another boost for the single itself so hopefully with that and maybe some last minute promo we can root for a top 5/10 with this ;o

I meant comparitavely flopped. Hence saying COMPARED to The Promise and other Girls Aloud songs

It wont go Top 20 after the Dancing On Ice performance...maybe Top 40 at a push  Once it is in the Top 100 it should do what The Loving Kind did, and continue to seel consistantly for coming weeks. And then hopefully Fascination will actually push some heavy prom in the week or two before release to help gain maximum physical/didital sales and keep Girls Aloud's Top 10 run. I know physical sales are low nowerdays, but i believe Girls Aloud's are still okish (10k on week 1 perhaps???)

10k on physical ? :o Certainly not.

Anyway, "Untouchable is a great choice, because for once the radio edit will really be worth to buy ^_^
