I think one the reasons why heartbeat is there is because they've been on a role, also weren't up for much last year and have a large fanbase. Plus the song was sort of huge last year. however surviving out of 10 singles to reach the top 5 nominations is odd :wacko:

I wouldn't count "The Promise" out yet. If they've got fans who have spent £60 to get "The Loving Kind" in the top 10, they'll probably spend that on votes for this too, assuming we can vote more than once.

GA should get it as not only is it the best sond out of that list, but the fact they have never won a Brit and are without doubt one of the biggest british bands of the decade mean they should get one to add to their accolades.

Leona would be my ideal winner. Make up for last year and BIT is such a fabulous and sadly underrated song so it would be amazing for it to get some recognition :)

 

But if Leona doesn't I want GA to take it.

I would love Girls Aloud to win and if not i would like coldplay,,after that i dont mind once it is not Duffy

I wouldn't rank any of the fice singles into my end-of-the year top 10 or probably even top 20. Thou on the other hand none of the tracks is really terrible neither. Better In Time is the best, closely followed by Viva La Vida.

"Better in time" is a good song but not "Single of the year" worthy IMO.

 

Obviously I want GA to win, brillant song, brillant video, brillant performances, .... although I can let it to Duffy if GA wins "Best group". But I don't think they could do it.
