Due to the lack of radio play in the UK and the US, it would become U2's first single in a row to be cancelled outside the UK and the US an do a Destiny's Child's last two singles.

February 19, 200917 yr Author I'm so looking forward to tomorrow's mids to actually see how things are shaping up, should have a clear indication, some sales would help as well, I got the funny feeling the top 3 albums are very very close. It also be interesting if KoL's new single will chart in the top 40 on downloads only on Sunday, with another #1 the week after with Revelry. Maybe I'm pushing the boat out, but I can only dream :D

February 19, 200917 yr I believe that the last single to move 12-1- was Akon Smack That, the last single before the download/physical age was Snap! The Power which moved 12-1- in March 1990.
February 19, 200917 yr Well, it had 2 weeks outside the T40, but still after a consecutive T40 run of 18 weeks, then going to #1 on the 19th week has to be some sort of record. Yep both Jennifer Rush (The Power Of Love) and Céline Dion (Think Twice) reached No1 on their 16th weeks in the top75.
