You have got to be freakin' kidding me.

Coldplay didn't win anything at the BRITs.

Not the best single for VLV, not best album for VLVODAAHF, not best live act, not best group. Nothing.

They picked GA, Duffy, Iron freakin' Maiden and freakin' ELBOW over Coldplay.

I am disgusted.

I've lost my faith in the BRITs.

i lost faith in the britz quite a while ago.

Duffy and Kings of Leon should be top5 on albums quite easily !

Girls Aloud, Colplay, Elbow and Iron Maiden albums should climb too !

On the single front, Kings of Leon should be close to the top5, and "The Promise" may be back in top40 :)

KOL 4 #1 in both charts.

Expect KoL to be #1 in the albums after their Brit performance.

And probably Discography or Pop Art making an appearance for the Pet Shop Boys.

Girls Aloud could make a quick appearance in the top 40 in both charts.

Possibly both - Discography is cheap in some places, and Pop Art others (ie iTunes).

Over reaction much? I am a massive Coldplay fan and I don't really care they won nothing (I wanted them to win album so they had a 100% strike rate but meh). Duffy, Elbow and GA deserved their Brits.

Oh, and I bet Elbow go right back up the album chart too. I agree that KoL could be #1 album.

I think Kings of Leon could do the doubled this week actually. :o In one iTunes update, they are up to #2, going past Lady GaGa in the singles...

Albums they'll take easily

Jester, sorry, I was a bit cranky yesterday :P

Duffy deserved to win best album really, and Coldplay can't really beat Iron Maiden at live act...

But still, Elbow and Girls Aloud is pushing it a bit ¬_¬

Hope Elbow can make top 20 with their amazing single 'One a day like this' and can't see U2 getting any higher than 6 with their awful new song
I predict Coldplay's Viva La Vida could see a return to the top 30+, Kings of Leon will return to top 3 or so with Use Somebody, Elbow will go at least T40.
Whatever, this is going to be a terrible week for me ini the prediction games! But I don't think today's midweeks will look so different from yesterdays, on singles at least.

Me too - It will be Friday before there is a bit of a difference and Sunday before any real difference - Makes Sundays chart more exciting really!!

I really cant see it being number one - Lilly was WAY ahead on sales

I think estimating Use Somebody at #1 in the singles is a bit far fetched, mind you, it will make a nice chart run, they need to sell quite a few singles, I can see it #1 on the iTunes chart. I think Lily might hold it, unless U2 put a spanner in the works.

We won't really know until tomorrow for sure, as there was only 2 hours left after the show last night as the cutting off point for sales for the day is midnight.
