:o Wow I checked U2's chart history on polyhex and every opening release from there albums since 1983 was top 5. I mean it will be unbelievable if it doesnt make T10. Seems they have a uber loyal fan base. Even the rubbish discotheque went straight in at number 1. Wonder where the fans are for this release

I have the "Use Somebody" CD single, I wonder how much I can get for it from the No.1 single collectors if it does get there.... :P

Not much, considering you can buy it from HMV

Kings Of Leon - Use Somebody

Chart Run: 29-29-38-48-50-30-25-21-17-15-10-2-7-5-6-5-8-8-10-11-12- [22 wks]

Its had one of amazing chart run if it does to go to #1 after 22 weeks

I don't think it'll go to No.1.

I think it will go back up to 2 or 3 tomorrow, and start falling again by the weekend.
Does Use Somebody has alot of chance to get to No.1 before Sunday morning?

LOL, the same question at iTunes thread. :D

I guess a little if not alot.

Well like I said I think it could be top 3. But I think by the weekend the Brits effect will wear off a bit. I think Lily will still be number one come sunday.

As much as I love The Fear, it would just be utterly brilliant for Use Somebody to be #1!

Unlikely however :(

Glad Britney is maintaining her top 15 position. :D

I love to see KoL at #1 on Sunday, from a chart statistic point of view, it will make the chart interesting for a change, as without the Brits it wouldn't have happened.

Think she'll fall come sunday though as falling on I Tunes, shame really - The song deserves to be top ten - The whole release was a screw up if you ask me!

Interesting, sure. Exciting, not really...

To be honest seeing how badly U2 are flopping, I mean, I don't really care, but I'm beginning to fret for the Pet Shop Boys new album and single...

Shame for Alesha; shes just back where she was a few weeks ago on the album chart. Is Beyonce top 10 with SL cos shes not very high on itunes?
So I was kind ofbright about KOL! Oh well, it will definitely be an exciting chart on Sunday! I count an amazing 8 songs that weren't in the top 40 last week! It's almost like it's 1999 again!

Eight new/re/chart entries according to mids today

Elbow - One Day Like This

Kanye West - Love Lockdown

Honey Ryder - Fly Away

Coldplay - Viva La Vida

Taylor Swift - Love Story

Rudenko - Everybody

Gary Go - Wonderful

Miley Cyrus - Fly On The Wall

The chart will be fun to watch this week. :P

KoL are #1 in albums, yay! They still have a day or two to get T3 in singles. I really hope they can get #1, but I'm worried they'll stall at 4. =/ CLIMB KOL CLIMB! :cheer:

SoF top 15 again too for no reason. :o Go KoL!
