Did anyone see thing in the Sun today that says label bosses have pushed the Poker Face release BACK to April 13th?!?! It says they are worried because Just Dance is receiving high airplay still!

If anything I expected it come a week forward! At this rate itll hang around top 10 and not manage to get #1 :(

TBH Physicals are so minimal these days that it doesnt really matter - And its now been playlisted on radio one too now!

I am expecting Poker Face to do a Hot 'n' Cold/Don't Stop The Music and stall inside the top 5 somwhere but never make No.1, despite the fact that it will easily go gold and spend months in the top ten...

The special bundle isn't available to download until Sunday and, unlike manic downloaders, I doubt the bulk of Will's fans will bother to download the existing album version which they already have, preferring instead to get the live version. His physical with its live performances is out on Monday.

^I like Will Young but he's singles are just bland now. :( He needs to come back with something "special" I think..

I agree - Dont think his album has performed that well tbh. I'd be surprised if it were over 400,000

 

I think it is around 400,000 for the album. Around the same sales as James Morrison. James's album was rescued by his duet with nelly furtado, before that it was sinking fast. I think they've both done well in a female dominated market, and with non debut albums. It's Will's fourth album, I'm very relieved he didn't do a Lemar, or a Franz Ferdinand!

 

Shame about the Let It Go single, it's unlikely to chart due to almost no airplay :(

 

I hope Lemar's album picks up with his second single.
