the album is selling constantly, yes, but i think for it to be a big seller for example over 400 000, nearer to 500 000 it has to be a slight bit higher, but i guess time will tell. iysk is ten times better than circus, but i just cant see it saing the album. wot do you guys think her total album sales will be? i think under 400 000...

Probably 450k if the fourth single is a good'n. Which, given the hype around it being her 'real' comeback, and the size of Womanizer, sucks.

yeah due to the size of womanizer its not very good. shatterd glass is the best song shes done in years!!!! and i cant even see that saving this album. i cant see if you seek amy and a "maybe 4th single" helping her shift another 170 k lols

I don't see how Circus was a flop I think the top 20 is the strongest it's been for a long time look at all those acts there plus the record company mucked up the release otherwise it would have been top 3. There's no video yet for If U Seek Amy so I don't really know how you can predict. Like usual people are rushing ahead with things next we'll have one for girls aloud 'untouchable' guranteed

people keep forgeting that Circus is being downloaded for 10 weeks now and it started just 4 weeks after Womanizer which still it was very hot at the moment, so it was kinda overshadowed by Womanizer at a time and it was too early, which is the main reason....so if Circus would have been released in first week of February, Im sure she would sell those 120k in 3-4 weeks time and it would peak inside top 5...and Im expecting IUSA wont experience the same thing...Im hoping the release date will be in May and downloads will start in beggining of April...so top 5 from me.

I think it will do more or less what Circus did, and just miss out on the Top 10.

Depends...Circus could have been a huge date if they didn't screw up the release date..the music video was released on December 5th!!! Nearly 3 months before the single release!

 

If this time around they release the single 2 weeks after the video it could be a top 5 hit easily.

It's not as good at Circus, but it's better than Womanizer. I really hope it gets top 10 but she seems to be struggling with high peaks. She tends to rise up the chart over many weeks but it eventually peaks outside the top 10 :(

In the US, which is the biggest music market in the world Womanizer went number one and has sold just under 2.4 million units, Circus hit #3 and has sold about 1.5 million units. Both are number one radio hits. And the album has sold just under 1.4 million copies in the span of 3 months. With that being said, if the album continues to sale well like it is now then I'm sure we could easily get 2 more singles off this album, that's the main way to keep people interested and buying tickets for the tour which will extend longer then 2 more singles.

The bit of controversy will probably add to it getting noticed like in the US. I actually voted top 20 cause I was thinking it might start to be downloaded early and do what Circus did. It deserves top 10 though. If the video is indeed being released already next week, it'll be kinda hard to tell where it will peak.

 

When it comes to the album, I think IUSK should keep it selling pretty consistent and bounce it back up the chart. The tour should help it sell a bit more too, especially in June when she's in the UK.

I'm not liking this at all. I'm actually getting bored of this era of her music. I don't think top 10 either maybe just top 20 :(
