February 12, 201015 yr The album is still climbing in ireland, it re entered 3 weeks ago at number 100, last week #90 and this week climbs 25 places to number 65.
February 20, 201015 yr The management are 100% to blame for this. The amount of f*** up's they've done in the last few months has been amazing. a. Totally wrong lead single b. Releasing the album after just one single. It took Girls Aloud years to do this, why would it make sense for The Sats to do it on the second album c. Leaving no gap between Work and Forever Is Over at all The themeing. The promo. The performing! Im sorry but making them mime is an awful decision. Have you seen Vanessa trying to mime, the microphone is miles from the girls mouth most of the time. SACK THE MANAGEMENT NOW! Saying that. Say Fascination do drop them. Would there be a point. Girls Cant Catch and Sophie Ellis Bextor aint bringing in any money are they and are unlikely to do so. Girls Aloud wont continue forever. They might aswell keep them on. Surely they can see the potential in their popularity. Plus if they do get dropped I will just go into mourning and lament the Pop Forum with WE REMEMBER THE GOOD DAYS threads :( That is some hatred for their management. Rivaled in Loon-Management-Hatred by my own hatred of the babes management  They aren't managed by Crown are they? If so watch out for a revolving door and replacements once they get dropped and resigned.

If we do get revolving Saturdays, VV Brown will finally have a day job.
February 20, 201015 yr I wonder will they try and do a deluxe version of the album and some killer song to it and will become a single and then hope the album will really take off?
February 21, 201015 yr I wonder will they try and do a deluxe version of the album and some killer song to it and will become a single and then hope the album will really take off? Yeah, I think they've left it too long between releasing 'Ego', and anouncing the next single. We all knew it was going to be 'Here Standing' but I think the label were relying on 'Ego' too much to get the album to shift more coppies, but the album dropped out the Top 40 after the release of 'Ego'. I think they'll do a new single and re-release the album which is why we haven't heard much lately.
February 21, 201015 yr It really would be worth a try and ego was recieved well and it did drum up some album sales so they really should capitalise on that.
February 22, 201015 yr Ah yes. I cant imagine December 30th was a good day for me  Ah well. If we do get revolving Saturdays, VV Brown will finally have a day job. I wouldn't bet on it. VV Brown is Crown Managed. They do everything they can to sabotage their act's careers [see also Frankmusik, Gabriella Cilmi, Mutya Buena and Sugababes 3.0]
February 22, 201015 yr They will easily get a 3rd album, imo. Fair enough if 'Ego' completely bombed then their future would be in doubt but 'Ego' is now their 4th single (after Issues, Up and JCGE) to pass the 200K mark and become certified Silver. Plus it's still in the top 30! :D And although their album has completely flopped it's still got potential to rise a bit after Here Standing is released. Pixie Lott's album completely bombed until her ballad came along and now the album hasn't left the top 20. if their label can keep Sophie Ellis Bextor (flop album, flop singles) and Banarama on then there's no way The Sats will go.

TBH yeah 'Cry Me Out' obviously did it's job, but TBF it didn't reach the Top 10 until the week it was down to £5 in Sainsbury's LOL. The Saturdays album is still £7-£9 in most places near me! I'm waiting for it to be in HMV's "2 for £10" offer (which I honestly thought would have happened before now though LOL) but yeah... they need to get the price down just as 'Here Standing' takes off (if that still goes ahead).
February 24, 201015 yr Author The lack of third single news is annoying tbh. I hope they dont skip Here Standing and go straight through to single from re-release.
February 26, 201015 yr wordshaker climbs this week in ireland after falling last week, this week the album climbs 11 places to number 70.
February 27, 201015 yr Girls have been in studio a lot recently and have been working with Taio Cruz. It must be for a reissue surely - or new track for Asia/US? Or both :kink:
