I wouldn't say Puretone was that well known, it was a total one hit wonder and the album flopped hard. (Which i have :kink:)

 

That having been said, i have no idea where Addicted To Bass charted when it was released, i didn't follow the chart back then. All i knew was that no-one at my school knew who Puretone were so i felt unique back in 2000/01. Well at least in my primary school.

Well no, Puretone themselves aren't well-known but that song was quite big, top 3 I think. Maybe it's old enough to be considered a 'forgotten hit'. That said, the likeliness of me sending "Afrodisiac" this time is slimming quickly.

So I'd say it's cheaper than most. You also need to take into account that it's currently lurking around the iTunes Top 70 :P being cherry picked from the 'Addicted to Bass 2009' album. So it is well known :P And it's the most cherry picked from that album with 'Omen' (by the Prodigy) the 2nd most popular :P

 

That said, I do LOVE the song :P

i never knew the song was big. I remember when it was all over the music channels, and then all over the One Hit Wonder days on VH1/MTV :wub:

 

 

Maybe it was very big, and i was just to thick to notice.

ok I know it doesnt make sense saying this but I gave September 8 points in semis, but if u go to semis thread I already said that most of my fave songs are in semi 1...then in finals it was really hard and September were unlucky...but dont feel like u might have been a winner because Im sure that If I would give a vote it would have been no more then 4 or 5.
