In all seriousness though, I do dread this being the new Dream On. CLEARLY DESERVES #1 etc.etc.

I still can't fathom how on earth Dream On wasn't #1 for months and months. I don't know what made it flop.

But whatever it was, I just have a feeling this one also will have "it". The general public seems to have lost interest in Robyn again, quite inexplicably.

I think Robyn will do fairly well with a new studio album and material from it, rather than featuring on other artist's tracks.

 

I think this is a million times better than 'Dream On', but it's not going to do well at all. :(

'Dream On' had no apparent hook. It just felt like one long, long, long verse. A pretty verse but not a verse worth 79p. Personally I feel the same about this and doubt it'll get top 20, but we'll see.

Not all songs need a typical Kelly Clarkson-esque big/catchy chorus to be amazing. Dream On's subtlety made it great whereas the intensity of The Girl and The Robot makes it great imo. The beat is furioussss, so good.

 

But I doubt it'll do well, that all being said. The general public can't really be trusted to have good taste most of the time sadly. :(

June 15th is now the release date but i hope they don't keep pushing it around or even worse cancel it.

 

I do think that this will become the Dream On of 2009, even though it clearly deserves top 10, but i reallly hope radio 1 gets their fingers out their bums and gets this amazing record on their playlist asap, instead of constantly playing the awful rubbish American acts
