If I seem unsympathetic to child acts in this ... it is purely because I despise them!

That girl group should've got through instead of that AWFUL and really not funny at all dad and son. :/ God they had faces I just wanted to punch, especially the son.

:rolleyes: Not another of these daft stories about what any of the acts has/hasn't done in the past. The programme is about giving talented people their big break...who gives a flying fig about what they've done in the past??? If Shaheen or anyone surrounding him "underplayed" or denied his previous experience I didn't notice and couldn't care less, and would still only base my opinion on the performance given on the night. A performance that you evidently didn't like and whilst the performance wasn't dripping with emotion, it was hardly devoid of it, as you would claim! Agreed, it wasn't a flawless performance but was certainly one of the better ones on the night and I think he deserved to go through. Hopefully, in the final, he'll perform a slower, more soulful song in which he can display all the emotional facets that you feel were missing last night.

Floral Highnotes were much better than that girl group.

It gets me when the panellists use the 'I don't see where this is going' chestnut to demean and do their bit in getting rid of contestants. They contradict themselves when they then say 'this is what variety is all about'. Why isn't Cowell just honest and say - look guys - unless you've got an act that can rake me in some millions then we're not interested. At the end of the day, the prize for winning Britain's Got Talent isn't about performing for the Queen at the RVP - if it were - then a one-off flower-arranging wheelbarrow tossing cross-dressing ventriloquist has every right to be up there with the singers and dancers. No - Britain's Got Talent is only about one thing - a promotional program to make Simon Cowell's bank balance swell. It helps him pass the time until his other cash-cow that is X-Factor begins.

 

But then again, I'm only stating what we all already know.

The dog act was awful! :mellow: The dog was just chasing after a ball? lmao. Hardly 'talent' if you ask me.

I loved the girl dancing act, really flowed well and was well put together!

So looks like Fabia is up last tonight. Clearly the producers want her through to the final.

 

I've not dreaded a performance like this for a long time!

I really dont like that kids voice. It sounds like he is singing through his noise. Horrible tone.

 

He nearly won me over with the Jungle Book Medley though :wub:

He sounds terrible, what the heck has he done, at least 'Consider Yourself' was respectable. It was good fun, but thats it.
