No way La Roux will be #1 next week. As Ben mentioned, she's similar to Alphabeat, not in style of music of course, but in the manner of doing in the chart... But I'm sooo happy it IS Top-7! (I won't say #7, coz everything may happen... :lol: )
I think that's a bit unfair. Lots of people are willing to be open to new music which sounds different and fresh but can still think her voice sounds dire. :P

 

Well yes I am generalizing completely, but it is true in some cases LOL, check their charts :P

But you could say the reason people don't like it is because she's different...

I suppose, I personally don't dislike her because she's different though, just mainly because of her voice to be honest.

I like Little Boots, VV Brown and Frankmusik who you could say are different to todays current music climate or w/e.

I do think their music style is similar. Both sounds like they are from the 80s. But I like both ;)

 

But I agree, La Roux's voice is a bit weird :lol:

And did you know her mum is Trudie, from the Bill, not many people know that. :D
