Availability will vary clearly and some songs will still have to be listened to via YouTube etc but hopefully this will be a good alternative for entrants in BJSC to familiarise themselves with some of the songs ahead of voting. April 9, 200916 yr would be better if all the BJSC songs were on there... True, I tried to make a Best Of playlist today but it just doesn't feel right. Whether I liked them or not, it seems odd with no Agnes, Maria&Mira, Margaret, Sound Of Arrows, 'And Then We Kiss', 'Dangerous' etc. They just have the popular UK artists. (I think I went OTT on the Quotosibb entries too - mostly because a lot of my entries were actually on there) The Beverley Knight song isn't a mistake btw, it's a live version of "Black Butta" but Spotify messed up with the tags for that EP. :s
April 9, 200916 yr 6 out of 8 Quotosibb entries on there :kink: 6 out of 9. No Estelle, Santogold or Sara Bareilles. The only one I added with little place for was "O...Saya" really. Beverley - As close as you're gonna get to the winning version of my song "Jimmy" - Made the Best Of final, X is considered to be a good final, thought I should include it. "Stuck On Repeat" - Little Boots had to be on there. No proper version of her other entries (other than "Mathematics" - which is a bit premature for this) available. "Can't Get Over" - September is another popular BJSC entrant, maybe I could have picked "Satellites" but "Can't Get Over" was her most successful entry. "Dream On" - I remember a few people would have given this more. Plus Robyn is well received on here and both Pixie and Suze McNeil weren't available. "O...Saya" - The only songs from from the top 10 of XIII on here were "O...Saya", "Ice", "I Can't Stay Away" and "Breathe Slow". Thought I'd leave out the top 3 hit and pick a third M.I.A. song over a third Veronicas one. (the three M.I.A. songs are quite different, not exactly true for the Veronicas, much as I love them) It's not like this is any good anyway. It's missing 5 winners and many of the 'classics'. (particularly the Scandinavian ones)

April 10, 200916 yr 6/9 Quotosibb and 1/15 Ashton I do have songs other than The Fear -_- I know. Of the earlier contests I didn't really want to add Sugababes, it was already looking a bit like a collectiong of the 'cheap' entries. Mutya and Laura were 'flops' that didn't do anything in the Best Of. I almost added Dragonette actually but thought three songs was enough for such a small contest. Red Blooded Women aren't on Spotify. That basically left me with one of the Gabriella tracks or Amy MacDonald. Maybe I should have added DWTGTBN to add another XI song.
April 10, 200916 yr I wouldn't expect RBW, Lorelei or Haffi to be on Spotify [XII, XIII, XV]. I'm not really expecting Laura to be on there either. [iI] Mutya's track was a demo [iII] as was Colour Me Dirty [VII] PTB was a I entry so hardly worth of a TBO list, however HITH Live did make TBO and was close to qualification [V] And lets be honest i do have a bit of a rep for Artist 1]Recycling and 2]Protection. So either Gabby C song would have been a good edition. Preferably DWGTBN tbh. X never happened and IX would have been a reasonable inclusion. and IV was just such an immense little contest :heehee: Much love to Dragonette. <3 God help me if i ever make a TBO playlist lolz.
