So, DO tell what is your favourite country? :kink:

 

Maybe the total number of points you've given to it doesn't really scream "my favourite country" but it actually IS.

For me it's either Herzebania or Torchwood. So much fantastic songs sent by them and they almost always get my points :D

Frahliso is slowly becoming my favourite country (it's how i FEEL)

 

But statistically Mdice, Kopecka or Rontvia will grab it, i think. Need to update my voting history <_<

I don't really think you can have a favourite country. :P I am always interested in Mdice's entries and actually regret not giving them more points throughout the contests. But overall Botanikka seem to be closest to my taste and they are who I've given the most points to.

Eledan, Torchwood, Jurananbaijan, Rivandia. I've not compiled a voting tally yet. In fact i might of lost BJSC XIV votes.

FSR Rontvia is the 'favourite' country of Republique d'Ashton. The quality of entries is almost always high III, and they always score points from Ashton when they are in the final :heehee: III. I have quite a similar music taste to Rich i think. Most of my favourite entries came from Rontvia: Smack Me, Love Song, Not A Love Song, Mine All Mine, M.A.G.I.C, Headhunted, Miss Blue, Jungle Drum. I would give M.A.G.I.C more points now -_- shame on me.

 

Rich should look at my new chart to see how high his entry is. :kink:

LOL its the same...Mdice is my #1 country if we go by points, but Angelicland always sends something that I would send myself

Hrm, Simondly is leading my tally, with US of Jack close behind. Both of them failed to qualify this time though, maybe some one will catch up.

 

I think MKL is probably one of my favourites. Didn't give anything to GaGa or Krystal Meyers but I usually like his other entries (basically The Veronicas then) even his non-qualifers are good. (Kandi and Tiffany Evans)

 

For other reasons I like countries like Utopia and Rivandia, constantly sending entries that stand out as 'different' whether they're destined for the depths of the bottom half of the semi final, scraping through to the final and 'flopping' or becoming a 'dark horse' for the top 5/10. They seem more about showing Buzzjack a gem they wouldn't have heard, rather than aiming for success every time. (those are just two examples that stick out btw, not saying others don't do this)

I think that sometimes people can become more attached to a country than the songs it sends so I try to disregard what songs people have sent in the past.

 

Looking at th points I have given, Nonsuch have scored highly from me in the past.

 

 

Mdice have always sent point-worthy stuff to date :wub: Rontvia are pretty fab too. It's not reflected in my points but I also dig Quotosibb quite a bit lately :o Utopia and Rivandia are quite fabulox for their own reasons too.

Kopecka nearly always send brilliant songs, Mdice's entries are probably my most anticipated due to them always managing to send a winner/top ten hit, Nonsuch, Quotosibb and Kingdom Of Shadow usually hit the spot, Herzebania and Ashton nearly always deliver the goods, and Dalisska scrape in there too for being criminally underrated yet always sending brilliant, often unknown to me, songs :wub: I echo what others have said about Utopia and Rivandia, always going against the current to send something unusual just because they love it...I love it when I love the songs from these countries! Angelicland and Botanikka consistently send high quality stuff too and Sangria always intrigue me with their originality...oh and Eledan either send absolutely amazing, contest defining songs or songs with zero chance of success...I would say I like or love 75% of their entries though musically so it's all good :heehee:
