Dizzee (2nd entry) & Soulja Boy switch places :D!!

Alicia Keys enters the Top 40 (Thanks to 'Britains Got Talent') at number 40, Star Pilots number 44.

I'll wait for Britster to do the rest :P

Am I the only one that thinks the Dizzee song is rubbish?

How did it make it to #1? Why is it even in the TOP 40???

Many people here find it rubbish, you're not alone. ^_^

I've said it before, but Dizzee ever did two good songs - Dance Wiv Me (mostly because of Calvin) and The Avenue (mostly because of the sample and he's less annoying as a group member).

I like most of Dizzee's songs.

Sirens is slightly annoying, but his other songs - Fix Up Look Sharp, Jus' A Rascal, Dance Wiv Me, Flex and Old Skool being the ones I've heard, range from okay to extremely good (DWM). And Bonkers is every bit as brilliant as DWM.

That said, I've never claimed to dislike Dizzee. :P

His verse in Band Aid 20 wasn't bad either, not the best part of the song by any means but still okay.

Band Aid 20 was an abomination. Band Aid II was better

No you certainly are NOT! it is vile to the highest degree.....It is sad that this is the most populat song in this country at the moment.

...perfect soundtrack to chav-infested, binge drinking, gang crime, creditcrunch Britain....

You should all listen to his track with Lily Allen 'Wanna Be'

Dizzee is God tbh. So pleased he's #1, best top 2 on iTunes in AGES!

Surprised Daniel Merriweather is so high, I thought it was only Jon who liked it! :o :heehee:

Sorry but this is the stupidest phrase I can ever hear from you as British.

Our area is not chav-infested, binge drinking, whatever that was. -_-

God talk about over-reacting. People's social and stereotype views are way off the mark here. Just because he's black and he raps doesn't mean that everyone who likes the song is a chav. I am not a chav and I like it? The fact is its just a catchy song and has been produced very well. For all you haterz (not that you will) I suggest you watch the video of him doing Bonkers at the Big Weekend event - the crowd went mad for it, as it would at any festival. And the highest percentage of people at live music events/festivals are not chavs trust me.

Err, out of interest, what is the difference between the two Reds? Are they crimson and scarlet? :heehee:

Also, Dizzee could have three versions top 100 soon...

LMFAO! :(

I should have renamed his thread to Danielle Merriweather. Maybe it would have got replies

Looking back, it's probably a good idea that BEP didn't release their single this week, as they wouldn't have beaten Dizzee and all of his remixes!

+ the EP + physicals. ;P

I wonder just how much Bonkers will sell this week. Should definitely sell more than BEP did, and I can see BEP even getting a sales increase this week.
