May 17, 200917 yr 'People already downloading tracks from the album off the internet' No it just got released as a single
May 17, 200917 yr Oh yeah, forgot that Bill Withers was a new entry. Well, it looks like Katy and Keri just narrowly missed out... I'd be willing to bet they are 42 and 43 respectively. KoL is #41 with US probs.
May 17, 200917 yr Quite a few artists do that. They release some songs from their album on iTunes to countdown the release to their album. :) I guess this must be something new because I haven't seen it before though :o (or at least new for me :kink:)
May 17, 200917 yr 'People already downloading tracks from the album off the internet' No it just got released as a single  :heehee: He's obviously oblivious to the fact the album hasn't actually been released yet! (Well, legally...)
May 17, 200917 yr 37 (from 21) Girls Aloud - Untouchable [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/2704479.JPG Chart Run: 54-41-42-36-27-11-21-37 [8 wks] Release date: 27-4-2009 Format: CDS Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 2704479 Label: POLYDOR Unusually for a group catapulted into the nation's consciousness via a reality TV/talent contest (2002's 'Popstars: The Rivals'), Girls Aloud managed to combine phenomenal single and album chart success with genuine critical acclaim. Their collaborations with the Xenomania production team have been particularly lauded, especially on CHEMISTRY (2005). As well as a mainstay of the charts, the five girls were also regular fixtures in the gossip columns, fuelled primarily by Cheryl Cole's much publicised marriage to footballer Ashley Cole and her participation as a judge in the 2008 edition of X-Factor. - HMV Video here: g5RM-HML6yw track listing 1. May 17, 200917 yr 36 (from 33) Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697463372.JPG Chart Run: 1-4-6-7-10-14-17-20-29-33-33-36 [12 wks] Release date: 2-3-2009 Format: CDS Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 88697463372 Label: BMG As the very first winner of the AMERICAN IDOL television show competition, Kelly Clarkson was inevitably pegged as little more than a manufactured pop commodity. The surprisingly versatile singer managed to survive against expectations, however, and released one of the most infectious singles of 2005, "Since U Been Gone." The success of the song not only endeared Clarkson to a tremendously diverse cross-section of the music listening population, it altered her status from mere contest winner to genuine pop sensation and pointed to a career worth following. - HMV Video here: track listing 1.
