Boot camp is being held in the Hammersmith Apollo at the end of this week. Tickets available for Saturday on Applause store :)
Unlike most people I don't really like the auditions, I hope they don't drag them on too much. They become tedious in my opinion. :(

I'm with you there :) It's ok at first (especially with Cheryl :naughty: ) but after a while i just want the bootcamp/live shows to air. Thats where the drama really starts

I've got to terms with the whole live auditions but i can't warm to the live bootcamp stages as well. I feel the producers are kind of ruining bootcamp now as many people will know the outcome beforehand.

Does anyone who has been to the live auditions know if Stacey McClean (s club 8 girl) and a girl who sang Halo got a good reception at all.

For me it goes:

1. Auditions

2. Live Shows

.....

3. Boot Camp (I find this part quite boring)

I do like the auditions but they are dragged out waaaaay too much. The bootcamp is good I reckon, but they do rush it.

The live shows seem to go on for years though! :|

Although i disagree with you about bootcamp, i can understand where you are coming from. It's also rather predictable; whoever gets the most airtime, it is clear/very likely they are through to the live shows cos why would the producers waste time on rejects :)

Having said that though, it is the best programme on TV. And although i said its predictable, when the dramatic music plays etc, i do fear my favourite won't go through even though it is bloody obvious :P

I like the auditions, because you get the really bad ones which are funny to watch

Boot camp is boring, but the live shows are alright.

Yeah i think the auditions are the best thing about it. However like you have said it just go on for ages.

I don't know if it's the girl you're thinking of, but I saw a girl called Leann (I think) who sang Christina Aguilera's "Hurt" followed by "Halo".

She got a great reception from the audience but the judges weren't too sure, but she did get through in the end.

Don't know about Stacey McClean though.

Thank you very much :) It's only cos i've heard people say they were really good. Leann must have been quite good to tackle a CA ballad and a Bey one as well.

Surprised they sing two songs though

trust me to be on holiday when the first 2 episodes are on, still I'll have two eps to watch in a row when I get back, can't wait!

Sometimes the judges ask them to sing their 2nd second if they are unsure about the first one.

Sounds like this girl benefited from the good audience reaction persuading the judges to say yes.

Good point. The only thing i hate about there being a live audience in the audition rounds is that the audience can boo, which makes it a lot like panto. Then, on the live shows, no one boos so it will be very very strange

I really hope they keep that to a minimum.

Its one of the things I love at the auditions -

$h!t singer and the judges laughing and then theres this silence...dont want booing ruining those priceless moments :(

Hope they might have warned the audience...

Yeah i totally agree. The audience booing will alert the crap singer instead of the crap singer thinking they are good until the judges snigger. I think SC is trying to create another Susan Boyle moment, which irritates me because we have all seen over-hyped contestants lose these contests mainly cos of the hype. Just look at SuBo and Diana
