July 14, 200916 yr I know hold JLS responsible for all this rain with "Umbrella" doing well. I certainly do not want the stupid Rihanna version in there. The Rihanna version is hardly stupid. She was the one who made it a worldwide hit. Mary J Blige couldn't have made it sell around 10m worldwide.
July 14, 200916 yr If you're suggesting that no one saw JLS being #1, then I completely disagree. No, I'm suggesting that JLS have been an obvious no.1 for weeks and so has everything else and its a bit boring at the moment. Oh, and I think Eva Cassidy was the last big surprise.
July 14, 200916 yr Author Actually I just had a thought is Umbrella the B-side to Beat Again as a double A side single, so its sales could be combined, so there must be 2 versions of it, hence why the track has entered high. Just clutching at straws now.

July 14, 200916 yr Author Poker Face was a surprise #1 So was Bulletproof, I never saw it coming to be honest at first.
July 14, 200916 yr Author ry ry do you have u2 chart position? I think its best to ask at the end of the week, as the album is not making much progress at the moment.

Just clutching at straws now. Or the physical sales of Beat Again/Umbrella are being added to Umbrella for some strange reason. *pulls another straw* All very odd.

I don't think physicals have much impact anyway tbh... especially as monday's mids take into account a sunday? Only monday will have been selling physicals at full capacity?
July 14, 200916 yr Author Another request for Ryan when he is available. Anything on Dan Black in the albums, thanks in advance.

July 14, 200916 yr If Umbrella is actually in the Top 10 will JLS be the first act to make their chart debut with two tracks simultaneously appearing in the Top 40 (never mind Top 10)?
July 14, 200916 yr Top 40 Only Singles 1 JLS 44.5k Heading for >130k on the week, at this rate! :puke: Based on Wed's update, I'll say 130-140k. Edited July 15, 200916 yr by vidcapper
July 14, 200916 yr 2 JLS's in the Top 10. :o That must have ruined our predictions... a bit. 44k for JLS is amazing. :o I think they sold like 15k at Sunday, then near-double of it. :o OK, so I know who they are now - but don't new groups need publicity, like releasing singles, or telling the mainstream they even exist? :P I always hear about them on Spotify. Edited July 14, 200916 yr by FM11
