Posted July 23, 200915 yr Ok, so this is something to keep my mind occupied for the summer holidays :P but the BJ Summer Olympics 2009 is to be held in Nickodonia, and will commence on August 1st. Anyone want me to use their country in my imaginary Olympics :P? Fettlebean has gone through another major revamp today as the city bids to host the BJ Olympics. The country is widely regarded as one of the greatest sporting nations, which makes up for it being rubbish in the song contest :kink:, the city has had several new stadiums built over its former poor district and has employed the poor to man the stadiums. It's amazing to think that in under a year Nickodonia has gone from being in ecconomic turmoil to this. http://i31.tinypic.com/k3t55v.jpg Main Athletics Stadium http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/2f/Registan.jpg Archery, Throwing and Horse Riding Pit http://www.photographblog.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/largest_swimming_pool_3.jpg Swimming Pool And for the most important event, the olympic grand prix: Fettlebean Raceway BAM. :cheer: Countries FNT Nickodonia (Hosts) Liechenstaan Kopečka (Defending Champions) Botanikka Stevinia Torchwood Hendinia New Rivermaya Skall Lievant FSR Rontvia Lorikeet Ashton Dalisska Kingdom of Shadow Xanaga Juranabaijan Edited July 23, 200915 yr by nickthenoodle
July 23, 200915 yr Kopečka, as one of the prominent nations of the world, OBVIOUSLY will return to guard their victory on the medals table from the first Olympiad held on home territory :funky:
July 23, 200915 yr Stevinia will surely match head to head with the elder countries in the world despite it's small population.

July 23, 200915 yr Kopečka will be expecting big things in swimming and field events, with star participants as follows: Ta'Lisa Shardone Quahvique aims to top her record of 6 golds in women's swimming from the first Olympiad; Jomke Kresse will be going for another gold in men's freestyle and butterfly; Eyrik Cermolven is seeking to break the Olympic record for men's shotput after a gold in 2005; Malvilke Nayroussen hopes to take the women's gold for diving, and Quismen Kalvilmek will be defending the men's record for the javelin. Outside of the field and swimming events, Hadisse Jolasevic will be trying to top her 2005 silver in the 200m women's race; Dr. Erno Erno Ernovic will be going for men's judo gold, and the Kopeček archery and football teams will all have high hopes for 2009 after their youthful silver successes in Kopečka four years ago. Whether Kopečka can top their winning total of 31 golds, 22 silvers and 21 bronzes is another matter though ;o
July 23, 200915 yr FSR Rontvia will take part, if only to get the opportunity to swim in that sensational looking pool/boating lane? :kink:
July 23, 200915 yr Lorikeet will take part in the hope that the male athletes are very attractive and wearing as little as possible.
July 23, 200915 yr Runners up Republikken Ashton will be looking to go one better. We shall be entering as the Kingdom of Ashton. We [the Australia of BJ] aim to take on Kopecka [The USA of BJ] but this time come away victorious. We'd like to keep our position on top of the swimming league tables *cough*competitive swimmer over here*cough* and thanks to our recent acquisition of Australia from the United Kingdom we are confident we shall own. Naturally the President is keen to defend his 9gold medals in the pool :smoke: Last time out we scored: 30 golds, 39 silvers and 28 bronzes
July 23, 200915 yr Author Oh, and why is there a raceway for the Olympics? Because motor racing is the most prestigious sport in Nickodonia since our president is Future F1 World Champion Felipe Massa  (maybe :P)
