I wouldn't be surprised if Run This Town is number one next month. For lots of you who don't know, its a collaboration between Jayz, Kanye West and Rihanna I've just seen it on youtube and RiRi has a killer hook but it's not really up-tempo :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Nope, Tinchy & one third of the Sugababes have a lock on that position a week from Sunday. Guaranteed..

John Barrowman #8 on iTunes chart, will it be enough for him to go to #1  PMSL

I don't think it's all complete focking bullcreep. He has a lot of listeners, and he's just taking advantage of the download service and in fact, he's letting people know of the song. ;)

Anyway, I was gone and about to

O2 Arena

yesterday. :P

Beyonce? Pink?

Eminem? Britney?

"quickly goes and edits my prediction in the prediction game"

Just kidding :heehee:

He's talking about both. The original post is near top of the page ;)

Yep, I was talking about both - a "BL" type comeback from Alexandra (which I don't think she will - it'll be decent but BL type sellers are once in a blue moon); a "BL #2" from Leona; and the X Factor coronation song from the Series 6 winner.

They would only have two weeks there. Everyone thought JLS would stay number one for a while cos they sold 106,000 in the first week but they only got 2 weeks. Tinchy wouldn't stay that long.

Having said that though, Run This Town is released 24th July in US for Airplay. And JayZ's new album is out 11th September so the single should be released around 24th August(?) :w00t:

I don't think Tinchy will hit #1, he sold a lot from his previous tracks, plus, he has an album out soon, also, *possibly* strong sales for BEP - IGF.
 at anyone who thinks JB will make No 1. Top 10 probably, Top 5 MAYBE but no 1? NO CHANCE.
There isn't a confirmed release date for 'Run This Town' yet :drama:

For airplay there is, cos it's been on the radio over here (coincidently four days after it debuted on radio in the US :P )

Also, on topic, i can definitely see Beyonce go top 5 by the end of the week (with or without JB's rude, uncalled-for interruption )

where is cascada in the albums please?
Pleasently surprised to see Cascada hold up so well in the albums chart  I thought it'd peak and bomb, however it's only falling a few places each time. This week will be the steepest drop though :(

Brilliant for BEP's too! So 2008 was the year which saw artists struggle to get more than one number 1 hit from the same album (Excluding Re-issued albums), now in 2009 it seems to be the trend where artists get a couple of number 1's from albums available to buy (If that made sense ha!)

Only problem with that it seems to be just the American artists so far :P unless Dizzee, Tinchy and Calvin Harris follow suit. Its quite a R&B No.1s for 2009, without using the word (chavvy :heehee: )

You should have seen 2007, the large majority of artists were lucky to get more than one big hit single off the album itself.

RyRy can you please tell me the sales difference of number 6-7-8 in the singles?
Has Agnes climbed back up or is she still at #15?
wow im shocked to see A Ha so high in the album chart its years since they were that high,im delighted to see black eyed peas number 1 its far more worthy than boom boom pow for number 1
