I love it! I think it's the subtlety of the whole thing I like.

That fact that it doesn't really have a backing track adds to it I think (well, it seems only Ben, Aaron and I liked it anyway :P).

 

Having said that, I've always been a fan of 'Why R U' too!

Never! :o Perhaps as a single it would be, but it's a bit similar to "Kongulo" in that it's so subtle on first listen but after a while it worms it's way into your head and you can't stop singing it. I know the lyrics are a bit cringey but it's quite divine. :wub:

 

I wasn't sure if it was really The-Dream either, he actually reminds me of Chris Brown quite a bit on this.

Yeah, that's definitely it's appeal, it's rather infectious. Shame it didn't get through, getting my 12 in the semi is a bad omen lately. ("Sound Of Kuduro", "Cosmic Journey", "Chameleon") :(

Liam joined the Nation contest, he's been there for almost 3 months or so and he hasn't done anything.

 

I got MSN Messenger the other day and he was there talking with the other NSC Members, he seemed ok.

 

I think people are being slightly harsh on him, it's not like he killed someone is it? Just because he had an alias doesn't necessarily make him a bad awful person.

 

I think I'm the only person here who thinks Liam was telling the truth, but I never really voiced it because I didn't see how it would help anything.

Well whatever happened, I still think it's sad that someone had to be disqualified and banned regardless of what they did. That's just me though.

This is a really hard contest to vote in! :o

 

I have 17 songs that are points worthy, but I only really love 3. The other 14 are all really good songs that I'll happily listen to often, but they're all around the 7-7.5 mark and each one could end up with 7 points or way off 1 point. I might just have to do a lucky dip :(

 

This contest also has one of the worst songs ever entered to it IMO, though I'm sure it's no surprise given I've previously said more than once that it's the worst thing I've heard all year.
