Hopefully SOF can return to the top 40 this week.

EDIT:

I just looked on chartstats.com, and apparently that 37 week Nickelback statistic that I have always trusted is WRONG! :o :o :o

Nickelback only ever had 34 consecutive weeks top 40. I guess that means KoL's SOF has the record... unless something else has 36+ consecutive weeks top 40.

I take this is nonsense then. :D

Peter Andre 'nearly has a number two'

WENN

Peter Andre's new single 'Behind Closed Doors' is just hundreds of copies away from a number two position in the singles charts, according to his website.

The track, which was at number four in yesterday's midweeks, is reportedly narrowly behind Tinchy Stryder's 'Never Leave You' and new Calvin Harris single 'Ready For The Weekend'.

"I have just been given an update regarding the sales of Pete's single. He is currently sitting at number four in the charts but is only a few hundred sales away from number two!" a spokesperson said.

"Pete is so happy already with the way it is selling so come on guys, let's help him get to number one!"

Earlier this week, online retailer Amazon reported that 'Behind Closed Doors' was outselling all other single downloads on the site.

I'm sure there's some kind of laxative-related gag that could be made of that headline, but being someone who's above that kind of humour I couldn't possibly comment :coffee:

Oh yes, I remember now, my source that said Nickelback had the record did say it was joint with Frankie Goes To Hollywood. It was correct about FGTH but not Nickelback.

Wasn't there one song that supposedly had 41 weeks, but was back when there were various conflicting charts, one recognised 41 and the others didn't summat like that?
