August 11, 200916 yr ooo and peter andre's song is rubbish.. if he didn't break up from jordan he wouldn't have this coverage.
August 11, 200916 yr OMG. Is It True? Bloc Party Top 10. I'm sleeping. :o No its true, really hope sales aren't front loaded from 7" buys. Number 11 on itunes so its gonna be close!! Still Top 15 is better than what I expected, I thought the days of them hitting the top end of the single charts were well over.
August 11, 200916 yr 01 BEP (By about 5k) 02 CALVIN (By about 2k) 03 TINCHY (By about 1k) 04 PETER (By about 8k) 05 BEYONCE So a pretty close race for #1 Really hope CALVIN gets there by sunday :) soooo close, only #5 wrong
August 11, 200916 yr SO SO SO PLEASED for Calvin! I LOVE that song at the moment, I really want it #01 over BEP, they've had their week! Chaaaa. Poor Florence, how unlucky she puts up the fight for 5 weeks and then when Michael's STILL at #01 the BEP's just take over!
August 12, 200916 yr Im bored of michael jackson been number 1 in the album chart and im wondering how many more weeks he will stay there now. Where are Take That in the album chart please????
August 12, 200916 yr Can you post Jordin's Battlefield positions? Both Album and Single Please :D Thanks in advance!
August 12, 200916 yr God the chart is quite boring at this time of year isnt it, it will excite up as we approach xmas with all the new albums.
August 12, 200916 yr Way out of the loop regarding charts lately, most of the songs I haven't heard, surprised to see Peter Andre top 5 though with a pretty tame effort I saw him perform at T4 On The Beach, sympathy sells well. I like the Calvin one though.
August 12, 200916 yr im kinda happy for Andre but i obviously perfere other tracks like Bloc Party but they weren't really going to do that well anyway
August 12, 200916 yr It makes physically ILL to see Peter Andre doing better than BLOC PARTY. :/ :snif:
August 12, 200916 yr Poor Florence, how unlucky she puts up the fight for 5 weeks and then when Michael's STILL at #01 the BEP's just take over! Yeah, that was really bad timing and unavoidable but I'm glad the MJ has reigned at the top for so long. I don't think it will last for many more weeks though as his sales have dropped off significantly since a few weeks ago. 7 weeks at No.1 so far (1 week with 'Number Ones' followed by 6 with 'The Essential') beats John Lennon's record of having the most consecutive weeks at number one following an artist's death - Lennon had 6 weeks. I'd like to see a few more weeks so that he can have the longest run at Number 1 this decade, but that is a little unlikely I think.
