Posted August 23, 200915 yr 4th record for the Lostprophets then. :o I've just been reading that they had the album all done and dusted, but then scrapped it as they didn't think it sounded right. They're releasing 'It's not the end of the world but I can see it from here' as a teaser single this year though. It's OK - quite a bit different to their other stuff (as their albums usually are to each other..) Excitement.
August 23, 200915 yr qVojc0VhIGk Eh, it's pretty good, seems different enough from Liberation Transition too, although i've only heard the singles from it.
August 23, 200915 yr Not really keen on Lostprophets but 'Rooftops' and 'Last Train Home' are great. ^_^
August 23, 200915 yr tbh they lost Ilan Rubin so that awesome drumming from the last album is gone And then they have made a good track since Fake Sound of Progress. so like f*** lostprophets.
August 23, 200915 yr I wondered what had taken them so long considering the album was due out Jan of this year originally! Let's hope it's good then. Love all three of their records so far but 'Start Something' is the best. One new album to look forward to next year then. Like the song posted but I'll have to listen more as it's not really that instant. There's something about it that bugs me and I can't quite put my finger on it...
November 25, 200915 yr Author Not feeling the album cover AT ALL (won't let me post it..). It's pretty horrid. Liking Where We Belong though however!
November 26, 200915 yr Not the biggest fan of Lostprophets, but was impressed when I saw them live so I'll give their new stuff a listen.
November 27, 200915 yr Author I am completely in love with the new single at the moment. Such an anthem!
January 11, 201015 yr I know I'm a bit late, but I love 'Where We Belong' so much! Has the album leaked yet?
January 14, 201015 yr like nearly all of their singles but only ever bought the album with 'last summer' on it as it had so many singles i liked!!
January 19, 201015 yr Author Really liking this album. Took a few listens for me to get into but I think they've managed to blend the style of all their previous 3 albums into 1. There are some great tracks. Especially liking the The Light That Burns Twice as Bright.
January 19, 201015 yr Agreed. I desperately want to see them again but tickets have sold out it seems everywhere. Hope they play Leeds again and DON'T clash with good people this time
January 21, 201015 yr Just got round to hearing to the album for the first time. It's a bit "heavy" (?) for my liking, however it's still a good album thus far! 'Where We Belong' is bloody amazing!
January 21, 201015 yr Just got round to hearing to the album for the first time. It's a bit "heavy" (?) for my liking, however it's still a good album thus far! 'Where We Belong' is bloody amazing! havent they always been heavy though?
January 21, 201015 yr havent they always been heavy though?Yeah they have, but I've been able to tolerate it. :heehee: For some reason, some of this album just doesn't connect with me the same way as their previous albums have  But I won't give up on it just yet :P As I like Lost Prophets, so they'll always get more chances with me.
January 22, 201015 yr Author The 3rd album was their most commercial on the whole, but the album is definitely a lot more darker and heavier. It's more like their first album imo, just doddled up in bigger production. There are some great tracks, and some great mixes on the album though.
February 25, 201015 yr They NEED to release 'Streets of Nowhere' with a proper video if they want any more success from this era.
