Brilliant for Bananarama, they must be doing huge on phys.

One thing I really hate at the moment is the weekly turnover at #1, that's 7 now on a trot, bar BEP's I Gotta Feeling, I hope Madonna gets a week next week.

Also its nice seeing acts getting 2 strikes at the #1

I wondered what on earth sent Kings of Leon into the top 10 last week - I thought it might have been some ironic reaction to their failed Reading performance. Really sad that X Factor is now Top of the Pops. Really, really sad.
I love that myself, makes the chart more exciting. Agree about Madonna tho *crosses fingers*
Was hoping Bev would start off higher than #21 with the album as she's probably an artist who gets the fanbase buy on the first day and sells less throughout the week. :(
Is it me or is iTunes data is missing, as seeing Bananarama that high, the single mids are questionable. And DG ahead of Jay-Z

DG is ahead of Jay-Z on iTunes, he has a second entry at 35.

Not so good for Bev's album, maybe it will climb after Loose Women :(

Good for Bananarama though :o

The two combined were still behind JayZ last time I checked; but not by much. Anyway, its the same as last week - his gap to JayZ was closer in sales than it was on iTunes using the combined versions.

The album chart is going to get interesting, Jamie T will drop, and probably Florence getting there, apparently she is #10 at the moment, or a Beatles album on Thursday, the change will probably happen Thursday more than anything.

I think the sales for The Beatles Re-Masters that has been sold already are on hold till Thursday, as it seem strange there is hardly a Beatles album in the top 40, unless they are lower down the chart.

... and a third version outside the iTunes top 100

Or the fantastic Leeds performance?

Wow. #1 album for Jamie T. :o

And U2 at Top 20. I completely underestimated it. :o :o :o

And Bananarama doing well in physicals. :o

Edit: I think I was overexaggerating about the U2 one. It might drop a lot tomorrow. :heehee:

Top of the Pops was cancelled due to falling music sales, right? They've gone up every year since  It needs to return now.

Great to see Muse top 10 already! Hope it keeps climbing.

TOTP was axed because of the falling viewing figures, as people weren't that interested in the charts and what was #1 like it used to be. Saying this the Christmas, New Years and Comic Relief specials were great audience pullers.

This is sad, as the music featured on it is, VERY cliche and predictable, also the show is edited to DEATH by Mr Cowell.

heres the 'soundtrack' for diffrent occasions.

'Young girl at auditions awaiting 'good' response from judges: Christina Aguilera - Voice Within/Mariah Carey - Hero

'Manchester auditions': Take That - Relight My Fire (EVERY YEAR seriously!)

'Young black male' artist/group recieveing good respose from judges: R Kelly - Worlds Greatest

...anyone else see this pattern?? I could go on!!
