Favourite ballad released between 2000 & 2019
What would yours be? (Prompted by me just finishing listening to 'Hurt' by Christina Aguilera on Spotify random shuffle play lol.) I think mine is probably 'Everytime' with 'Because Of You' and 'Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart' close by.

A tad surprising to see that down this low but 'Bad Boys' is another one that didn't click with me for whatever reason, production was fine I guess. I think it will place around here for me too when I post my rank. 'Broken Heels' and 'All Night Long that followed are far superior.

Never cared for or liked pretty much anything of JLS's. This one being no exception.

Jester ranks the number 1s of 1987
'Stand By Me' is a classic, similarly 'Never Gonna Give You Up' is too. 'Pump Up The Volume' is a tune. 'Who's That Girl' is fine but inessential Madonna. There's other songs I prefer by Jackie Wilson but 'Reet Petite's' also fun. Like everything that's to come in the top 10 so intrigue on the order!

Alanis Morissette Singles Rate
Ooh this'll be good. Shall be rating and gives a good opportunity to check songs I don't know. I did buy a GH of hers in Brighton last year which I also must check. 'Hands Clean' the only single of hers I bought. Superb track.

'Boys and Girls' is a basic bop that would be higher up for me. I prefer it to 'Mama Do' but it's close between them both tbh. The two singles that followed this I liked even more though.

Ah that one I'd have a fair bit higher up. Dated sure but still an enjoyable track when I hear it and like Rich mainly like it for Amelle mostly but Tinchy's rap is ok on it too.

Bland cover, Joe has a good voice but wasn't my choice for winner. Stacey or Olly like Paddington would have been my preferred choices too. That 'Islands In The Stream' version isn't anything great obviously but since it was made for the cause I don't dislike it as such.
