Good winner and an incredibly obvious top 3 (I just thought Addison would win but CMAT and Marina were always going to finish near the top) but in retrospect I’m struggling to see the point in participating in this contest if I’m being honest. Was it just a one-off and I missed the memo about sending beat pop songs everyone already knew well / that charted? Maybe I’m just erroneously assuming every contest on BJ has more or less the same purpose as well as veto criteria as UP and BJSC :’)

In an act of desperation they announced live tour (across Western Europe only because UNITED BY MUSIC of course) in June. Isr*el is probably headlining it if I were to guess :’) I see so many entrants flat out refusing to participate in the selection based on this too. EBU are f***ing insane.
