  1. Don't think you can say things like that in the current era. 85 points probably gets you the title at the moment. I think losing all 3 would be a big loss, but Salah and Virgil can't play forever and Trent has been gone for a long time. I think this would make Arsenal favourites next season for sure. But the one thing with Liverpool and with the guys who run the club, there is not a lot they have got wrong outside of the January 2021 transfer window. It's why I'm not too concerned really, although the biggest concern is Trent is our creative outlet so we need to replace that somehow.
  2. I’m not sure the hierarchy want either to stay. Virgil perhaps now, but I think Salah is gone as he’s too expensive. Possibly a mistake but I think we’ll just use it as an opportunity to refresh the squad.
  3. It’s not done yet. I think Romano has jumped the gun, will wait until Orny confirms. Always highly likely though he was off. It’s been at least two years in the making and that last contact signed in 2021 was engineered. Not ideal really.
  4. Can't wait to see how Biden gets the blame for this.

Only 7 episodes too. I'm interested to see how they end it this season as the narrative of the second game is really complex. Suspect it will end in the thearte scene. I'm away when the season drops so I feel I'm going to miss the memes at the start.

Looking forward to seeing THAT moment. Just can't get my head around Ellie this season though.. she's so much older in the second game!

I think I preferred Season 1 as a whole but that was a great finale. It set up the 3rd season in a roundabout way, but even if it did not get renewed it ended perfectly as a finale too. Must admit I've no idea where the show goes from here (although clearly Gemma and Irving will cross paths.. at least that's where I am expecting that to to). So many great shots, the final scene was fantasic and the Innie/Outtie vs Gemma/Ms Casey was fantasic. Was probably a little disappointed with the Cold Harbor reveal as I thought it may be something bigger.. but such a show. I'm waiting for the Mr Milchick memes to come out again.
  8. It’s apples and oranges though, some of those countries have much higher taxation levels than us and all of them are also in the EU, which is the single biggest thing we could do which would improve our economy in the short term. We wouldn’t even need to rejoin. My issues is I haven’t seen any other serious alternatives proposed by anyone. I think the idea of a wealth tax is going down the wrong avenue too. It’s why they’re going after Land taxes with the farmers. The value has shot up way above inflation and you have so many private holders of agricultural land.
  9. The figures are not good but to me it just highlights what mess we are and nobody has a plan to turn it around. A lot of our economic challenges are self inflicted. Everybody wants services but nobody wants to pay for them. Almost like we've created a perfect storm for ourselves.

Undoubtedly one of the best things I have ever seen in the last 10 years. The writing, acting and technical ability of how it is shot is all absolutely superb. Struggling to find even any flaws. Episode 1 was my favourite, purely because of the suspense and drip feed of the information right until the end of the episode, which is harrowing to watch really and turns everything you feel on its head. Like others have said, episode 3 is the probably the highlight and the one I suspect will win all the awards. The whole episode is superb and that last sequence just leaves you with the chills.
  11. The U.K. music industry is in a bit of a hole at the moment I’d say. Who are our big bets? Maybe Miles Smith. There seems to be a real lack of talent out there who labels are willing to put money behind. America often do big pop music way better than us, they always have done. Some of the acts the industry and labels have pushed recently have been crap. It would be great if U.K. music is more heavily supported, but we also have to make sure the music is good too. Often our niche has been grime and bands, but grime seems to have completely gone off trend for now and bands just don’t seem to have any traction in the charts these days. I put a lot of this down to the labels not wanting to invest money due to a declining market. If you go back 10-15 years, the industry was way more predictable. If you had big spend behind artists, more often than not they were guaranteed success. But in todays climate that is a lot more difficult.
  12. Neoptism is a huge problem in the music industry though. Most acts these days either come from wads of cash behind them due to who they are or where the come from or are music industry plants. Of course you get the odd exceptions to the rules like Noah Khan or Chappel Roan who go viral on TikTok. But another problem we are experiencing (and this is a global problem) is we are creating less superstars. We're in a generation where people are so quick to move on to the next thing or hold on to one viral song, that by the time an artist wants to move on, they can't. Or in quite a lot of cases, people are interested in the song but not the artists.
  13. I think today has shown that countless American administrations can't handle Putin. Not sure which way this one goes, expect Trump probably getting bored and changing the subject and giving up. The temporary ceasefire on energy infastructure is absolutely useless. Russia would be giving up on hitting that in a few weeks regardless after the winter.

Hope they pay off is good. Seems like the last 3-4 episodes have all been setting up the finale.
  15. Spotify is a business and for the most part, labels end up having some form of cross country marketing budget for these playlists. If a label pays enough, they’ll get support. I think the U.K. version of Hot Hits is especially rubbish but I also don’t believe an artist needs it to get a hit.
