Seems relatively open, but I reckon it's between 10 songs realistically...

12/1 Batidas: Agnes Obel 'Riverside'

That's a promising start. :D

Out of interest, do the "bookies odds" tend to reflect the actual final results? Or has there ever been a situation where one of the favourites in the betting has bombed out in a semi final?

More often than not they tend to be relatively accurate, I generally get 7 or 8 of the top ten right every month. However yes indeed the latter has happened, most notably when I and a few others predicted my own entry, Mira Craig's Headhunted to win BJSCX (modest I know :drama:). It crashed out in a blaze of glory in the semis, on the way to becoming the most love/hate entry that the contest had seen - it was a classic moment!

I'm starting to get used to these rather nice odds

Makes a change from the utterly gash one's i was getting a while back

Surely PRoJ's best odds ever? It is relatively cheap, but Jester ftw tbh :kink:

<_< 'Mr. Saxobeat' is a great track - certainly one of the better "brass based" Eurodance tracks I've heard from Romania in the last 6 months. It's been steadily climbing up my Pre-Release chart for a few weeks. Thanks to BJSC XXXIII the track could have an even bigger impact on my main chart when it enters.

It's 'cheap' because lots of people know it already, and are likely to give points to it. Not anything to do with the actual song :D

Not liking my low odds :( Though I'd put myself no higher than 50/1 tbh, I'll be shocked to qualify :( I think Sjus will shock, it's not typical BJSC fare but I can see it doing well!

I was in a random Romanian dance loop on YT and was happy to rediscover Mr Saxobeat! After a couple of months in the dusty corners of my mp3 it was lovely to hear it again! :D It is a bit of a 'safe' choice as it will gsther lots of points, but good move from Jester - I love the song!

Awwh :( If Jolin was in SF2 I would have voted for it! Really like it, and I'm surprised that people don't think it will qualify, but at least you've got a fan in Pavel! :D I'm happy with my odds from Rich. Definitely made the right choice, but I will be a bit -_- if Hendinia finish above us with 'Natteravn' seeing as it was a contender. Hope it does well anyway

If it was cheap it would have been veto'd.

It hasn't been veto'd, ergo, it's not cheaptastic. It may not be the most inspired of entries given it's impending release, but it is a clever, well timed entry.

Is 'Mr. Saxobeat' getting a UK release? :o I honestly didn't know that even though I saw the (really badly edited down to 2 minutes long) video on Clubland TV earlier in the week.

From what i have been lead to believe, yes it is. I can't see it doing more than I Like That unfortunately.

Only me, you and Pavel like it :( Sjus would get points from me if we in the same semi final!

AshBet don't do traditional odds, they do occasionally whip up a load of specials. The first set of which for some time will be announced after I've got home from work tonight...
If Rasmus does well i will cry

It is, Scott Mills played it yesterday on Floorfillers.

I'm uber bored of Mr Saxobeat, so not sure I'll vote for it (depends on the competition). Much prefer her new one "Get Back (ASAP)", currently #2 on my chart :D

Darn it, I was hoping the Robyn effect would give me decent odds <_<

Although my entry isn't exactly *the* most BJ friendly entry ever despite Robyn-ness so

Having not actually seen any of the votes so far, mine aside...as ever, this isn't the order I think the final will play out, but how much of a chance I think something has of winning - many of the ones lower down have a big chance of coming top ten overall IMO but a lesser chance of crossing over to everyone and wining.
