One of the girl bands from the Netfix series 'Building The Band' have released their debut single and video! This is very Tate McRae, no? A BOP!

I didn’t mind Gracie at first tbh. ‘Close To You’ is a banger. ‘That’s So True’ is ok. Everything else is just not for me really. But I saw a video of her at Lollapalooza the other day where she brought out Robyn to do a duet of ‘Dancing On My Own’ and… She genuinely sounded horrific.

'Ghost of Us' is good too. I've played 'Bye' a couple of times and I really do wish they'd have another chorus after the final chorus that we did get. Just needed one more explosive chorus I think!

Really enjoying this! That chorus is sooo deliciously melodic. Coulda done with another final chorus or something though.

I thought I would split her BBC Proms stuff away from the festival stuff. It feels quite different to her festival slots and gigs. It'll be broadcast later this year (September/October time) and I think we could do with something that separates this set from everything else. -- 'Angel Of My Dreams' seems to have been uploaded somewhere though, I can't see where it originally aired/leaked from but it's doing the rounds at least.

This happens EVERY tme there’s a big new telease. You have all been here long enough to notice patterns in new releases and how they debut high then fall around a similar percent the following day/continue “decreasing” on Sundays too (Monday’s update). In rare circumstances will you find a ‘driver’s license’ or ‘APT’ where they actually increase their streams the entire/most of the week. Even then they don’t debut at number 1/top 5… Every time there’s a big release you all have the same conversations over and over and over again. It’s boring and whenever anyone points it out that it’s a decent hold/expected drop, there’ll be someone trying to downplay it in one way or another. None of you can let even the first weekends go by without making these silly comparisons. It just feels like you’re all racing against each other so you can be the first to say “told you so!!!!” It’s just wash, rinse and repeat at this point. It’s boring.

One of the songs of the year for me already. Flawless. No notes. She’s such a special talent for this generation.
