Chart Commentary

A big thank you to all those 3 of you who commented on last week's personal chart, including Jason, Sven10 and 🐶 Jay.

A new smash hit from Lady Gaga is the talking point this week as Symphony slips away from the top after 3 weeks. Fresh sounding single The Cure reminds us of the sort of energy Lady Gaga can put into a performance and the fact she can easily move away from the sounds of her album Joanne and move into a tropically infused pop banger!

Steps remain #1 contenders as they remain fixed at #3 this week. This week's track of the week from Jason Derulo & co. climbs into the Top 5 and achieves a new peak. There's also another Top 10 new entry this week from 90's girl group TLC who are back with a new single featuring Snoop Dogg. Sigrid also makes Top 10 with her debut single Don't Kill My Vibe.

There are also new entries this week for Cheat Codes feat. Demi Lovato, narrowly missing out on breaking into the Top 10. Joining them are also Alma with her new single and Tom Zanetti returns to the Top 40 with a new song just a week after dropping out of the chart with his banger You Want Me. At the foot of the chart are the Fast & Furious 8 soundtrack song Good Life and Paramore's return has also made a sudden chart impact too. Finally the lesser known dance track Higher scrapes in at #40.
