Gentleman or What Are You Waiting For to go first pls.
But I was just thinking when I done this rate they had a really good singles discography tbh. Up or Issues to win for me though. Gentleman [5.05] Highest: ThePensmith (09); Herbs (08.5) + JosephInSpace, Lukuzz & Adam (08) Lowest: *CENSORED* (00); SevenSeize & Mullo (01) + Jade, JordanLee, Calum, FUTURE NOSTALGIA & SamJudd (02) --- 17. 30 Days [5.63] Highest: ElectroBoy (09); Jonjo & kye (08.5) + slowdown73, Bre & Wall (08) Lowest: FUTURE NOSTALGIA (-01); *CENSORED* (00); SevenSeize & Tawdry Hepburn (02) + Davidson (02.5) --- At number 18 & the first song to be eliminated is the cringetastic Gentleman. It's abhorrent. As a HUGE fan of them, this was a major misstep and almost killed their career flat out dead quicker than they would have done. Thank God 'Disco Love' turned it around somewhat, for a very brief amount of time. Just awful, I think a 3 from myself was quite kind tbh. #17 we have the hugely underrated 30 Days. I always forget just how much I love this track until I play it. It's a banger and should have been a much bigger hit, imo. SO good. Despite a -1, it managed to avoid being bottom, quite comfortably too! *.* |

those that don’t love 30 days should listen to the instrumental - that production is insane. i love the track either way but i often play the instrumental in the gym!

At number 15 is their Comic Relief single, a cover of Depeche Mode's Just Can't Get Enough. It was a huge hit for the girls, giving them their highest peak to date at that point in their career peaking at number 2 (losing out to Flo-Rida's monster hit, Right Round iirc). It's SO much fun and just a joyous charity cover single. It's low-key the best charity cover single of the noughties. I hear this soundbedding ALOT of programmes! Like, I'm pretty sure it's the most used  The video is irresistably charming too!

good at the first two, Gentleman is a clusterf*** of a mess that doesn't work and 30 Days gets worse and worse for me every time I hear it
the next two going out tho both such bops, esp JCGE which is one of my fave Sats songs def, so many fond memories of that song

What Are You Waiting For? is so underappreciated.
It's a shame that radio had abandoned them in 2014, so there was never really a chance of it doing any better than it did. #38 was so harsh! :') It sold 9,982 in its first week; only 18 months earlier What About Us sold 114,259 in its first week... the decay! To my ears not much separates these two songs tbh, they're both enjoyably basic bops.
