This has been hanging around just outside the top 40 for a few weeks now and looks like it will climb in pretty soon.

 

I've only heard it once but thought it sounded alright from the 17 year old rapper.

 

I've not minded this the few times I've heard it! When I first saw him I definitely thought he was a member of D-Block Europe though :kink:

Firstly it reminds me a bit of Powfu ft Beabadoobee Coffee for Your Head with that repetitive high pitched vocal in the background.

 

The song also has a grim rainy-nightime-in-winter atmosphere to it I think. He even mentions winter in the lyrics to go with it. Which makes it perfect to become a hit song at this time of year.

I've not been too sure what to make of this song so far but I think it is growing on me - kind of sounds like what it would be like if Bandokay attempted to make a 'sensitive' song. The sample use is pretty nice, didn't realise at first that it was Billie Eilish as I haven't heard the original song.

Added this to my on the go list based on hearing it on the chart, it’s really nice!
