Over the next few weeks, we will be pitting each album's opening track with its closing tracks. Some of them will be very obvious from the start but others seem to be a lot more hotly debated. Simply vote for your favourite in each poll and comment your thoughts!

This time it's Born This Way which kick starts with:

and ends with:

Which is your favourite?

1. The Fame

This is a super hard one. The album has the PERFECT opener and closer - she really kept artistic integrity and vision strong by even adding deluxe tracks within the album not tagged onto the end to uphold this. Both perfect in their placements on the album.

The Edge of Glory has been my favourite Gaga single for YEARS with Marry the Night second, but honestly I think the tide is shifting and this could be the poll where the two switch places? I can't call it :drama:
Agreed this is SUCH a hard choice after two very easy ones :drama: just goes to show how well thought-out BTW is as an album. In the end Marry The Night just edged it for me as the bridge is so epic and the whole song just hypes you up for what's to come.

I have decided to vote for Marry the Night. For years The Edge of Glory has been my absolute favourite Gaga single but over the past year or two Marry the Night has slowly been creeping its way up. The Edge of Glory with the hearbeat and the eventual flatline is the PERFECT album closer, it's art, but Marry the Night also offers the PERFECT intro - a fiery insight into the empowering nature of the album. Both are incredible, on any other day, my vote would be different!

The intro to MTN gives me goosebumps every single time I listen to it.

Lady Gaga first heard the church-bell-filled sounds that Garibay had concocted for this tune while on the road for the Monster Ball Tour. She recalled in the MTV documentary Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside: "He goes, 'Your show is a religion and your fans are a cult. It's this epic music. It's just so big.'. And I started to cry. He said, 'What's wrong?' And I said, 'I can't believe that you hear me so big.' " Gaga sat down, and lyrics immediately started pouring out: "I'm gonna marry the night/ I won't give up on my life," she wrote.

The power of music.
