Taking inspiration from Sam's countdown! Unfortunately, I'm not *quite* at the level of stan Sam is to rank EVERY ONE of her back catalogue of tracks. So I've actually got a playlist of my favourite tracks from her albums which is 130 songs.

However, this is only the top 100. I shall run down the other 30 tracks in alphabetical order at the end of the countdown (hopefully to keep suspense about whether certain tracks will show up eventually or not etc..!)

My top 100 are all tracks that I consider to be my absolute favourite Taylor tracks. Like, they're very top tier for me. Which is wild to say when it's 100 tracks. I like and love every single one that appears.

Will start this shortly probably in batches of 5 until we get to the top 20. One batch will definitely come today.

096. Mary's Song (Oh My My My)
097. Ronan
098. Dear John
099. 'tis the damn season
100. august

Kicking us off is a song from her debut album! We have the lovely Mary's Song (Oh My My My) which is really cute and deserves more appreciation! Ronan is up next and it was really hard trying to rank this just due to how heartbreakingly lovely and emotional a song it is. 100% the saddest song she has ever written. I love that Ronan's mum is credited in the writer's credits due to it being based off of her poem. Up next is a 'Speak Now' track and it's Dear John. The song that scalds John M*yer and it's such a great track. Some of the most personal lyrics in her entire discography. But there's a 2nd J*hn track to come and it's far superior! 'tis the damn season is one of the few songs on 'everbore' that I actually like enough to play it outside of the album. Such a wonderful song and finally we have 'folklore' track august. A song I actually find overrated amongst her fans but I still like it a fair amount.

Also, these will be the "Taylor's Version" of the songs. Until she claims the rights of the original songs, then I will only ever refer to the TV's - I ain't bothering with stylising as so, so if the TV version is available, assume it's that!

091. Back To December
092. Mean
093. Mine
094. The Lucky One
095. Girl At Home

3 tracks from 'Speak Now' & 2 from 'RED' fall out in this section. At #91 is the beautiful Back To December which is a song about her ex, Taylor Lautner. One of the fortunate exes to have a lovely song about him! Up next is Mean which is a Country-Pop number and it's really infectious, playful and fun. I really love the chorus to this song especially. Such a cute melody. Mine is the final 'Speak Now' song in this section and it's a nice, punchy and catchy number! This looks like it was a cull for 'Speak Now', but honestly I love the entire album so much that there's still quite a few more tracks to appear, I promise! The Lucky One is one of the 'RED' tracks that I find most underrated. It's really catchy and just a really lovely song with a gorgeous message and finally for this section we have Girl At Home rounding us out and the thing that sticks out the most about this song to me in particular is the vocal production. It really suits the song and I like the effect it has over the vocals. A gem!

FLUSH at ‘everbore’ shade and Mary’s Filler (Oh sleep sleep sleep) making a top 100 let alone a top 200 x

Apart from that, slay! Four fab Speak Now tracks (Mine ofc being the highlight *.*), tis the Damn season, august (I low-key agree, I adore it but it’s not top 10/ultimate fan fave for me either), the lucky one is on the better side of the filler Red tracks and Girl At Home is SO underrated, glad to see someone else have it in their top 100 and that I’m not the only one! Ronan is heartbreaking and one song I ranked too low in my countdown, I always struggled to listen to it but for some reason I’ve been spinning it so much this month and it’s so so beautiful.

'Mary's Song (Oh My My My)' is so cute! STOP IT!!!! 'Ronan' is just so hard to rank and anywhere feels too low for it, but then again most of her other songs are available to grow due to repeat listens. I can't spam 'Ronan' but I do love it when I listen to it.

086. 22
087. Fearless
088. Picture To Burn
089. Should've Said No
090. Paris

'RED' experiences another casualty as the single, 22, exits in 86th. An almighty banger, that is just so catchy, upbeat and just pure FUN! It's seemingly a highlight on the 'ERAS Tour' as it's the moment a nominated member of the audience receives THE hat! Fearless is out next and it's one I don't think I appreciated properly until Taylor's Version, but then again, I don't think I took notice of her first 2 eras all that much up until like 'Repuatation' (I'd heard them, but I was ALL about '1989'/pop Taylor). The chorus is melodically wonderful! So whimsical and carefree. Two debut tracks leave us now and both were singles. First up is Picture To Burn which is another one of Taylor's sassiest tracks! But in true form to her debut it's playful and fun as opposed to just being cutting. Should've Said No is at #89. I love how sharp the delivery is on this track. I think it really helps the song hit that little bit harder, so I am very excited to hear the TV of this one in particular. It's a really catchy song and the hook will be stuck in your head. Finally for this section we have the first 'Midnights' track to appear and it's a 3AM track no less. It's the cute Paris which to me is kind of a cute '1989'-era track. So ofc something that would be at the tail end of '1989' still makes an appearance in my top 100!!!! It's fun and serves it's purpose as a bonus track.

Love this so far, I just know I'd have too many faves to rank but maybe will give this a go some time too!

Tis the damn season, august and Back To December would be SO much higher on mine and I don't think we'd hear much from Debut, but I'm so here for the Girl At Home / Paris love! Definitely underrated, I think people are so overdramatic about Girl At Home especially but it's a cute bop and I'm glad Taylor got to finally complete it for the TV.

Lots of good stuff appearing so far. Love seeing 'Paris', '22' especially Jon. Also down with everbore shade indeed as it's a solid album although obviously doesn't hold a candle to folklore!

I do love seeing people's rankings and things. Love seeing how much things differ for everyone. YAY for more 'Girl At Home' love! Very underrated.

081. I Did Something Bad
082. I Knew You Were Trouble
083. Maroon
084. the last great american dynasty
085. Both Of Us (B.o.B. feat. Taylor Swift)

Starting off the next batch is the first song from 'Reputation' to appear. I Did Something Bad is one of those songs that although I know I like it (alot) I always forget just how much I love it until I play it. It's an absolute BANGER and is one of the hardest hitting songs in her entire discography! Next up is another song from the 'RED' era. It's the most obvious song that I believe has been effected by "Taylor's Version" not being quite up to scratch of the original for me and seeing as I won't be opting for the OG version of it anytime soon, it's suffered a bit of a drop compared to where it perhaps should/deserves to be. It's an absolute STOMPER though, still! It's just that it's the one song in her re-recordings where I've actually preferred the OG (whereas the rest whilst some may not be "better" than them, I will still HAPPILY play TV's over them). Maroon is the next song from 'Midnights' to appear! In a similar vein to 'august' from 'folklore', whilst I love 'Maroon', I don't love it as much as others seem to be. It's an excellent song though and is a little bit of a grower. Speaking of 'folklore', we lose the next entry to appear from that album and it's the wonderful the last great american dynasty. The thing I love the most about this is how subtle and simple it all is. The little production flourishes throughout are beautifully done and stunningly executed. Finally, it's the first entry to appear where it's not assigned to a particular era of hers as it's one of the first times where she was a featured artist. Both Of Us is a song from B.o.B.'s 2nd album, 'Strange Clouds'. I realise I am probably the only person who adores this as much as this, but it's such a bop to me! So underrated, but then again back then rap songs with a big female pop chorus was all the rage!

Taylor Swift: 3

RED (Taylor's Version): 5

076. Cornelia Street
077. Speak Now
078. Starlight
079. Mastermind
080. Holy Ground

Cornelia Street kicks us off in this section. The first 'Lover' track to fall! Such a gorgeous song that actually gets better as time goes on. Speak Now leaves us next. The hook is crazy strong! I do think I slightly prefer the OG over the TV though (but not enough for me to opt listening to the OG over TV!) I find the melody of the verses to be so irresistably catchy. Starlight is out next. Another entry for 'RED'. Very catchy and just a really good song. I do think it's slightly underrated overall though. Mastermind is the next to go. It was one of my instant favourites on 'Midnights', but although I feel similarly now as I did when I first heard it, I think other tracks from the album have overtaken it in my affections. Another position and another loss for 'RED'! Or is it a win? Maybe this is my favourite Taylor album??? Holy Ground is the latest victim to fall from the album. Such an epic sounding song. Taylor-made (hehehe) for a stadium!

Taylor Swift: 3
Fearless (Taylor's Version): 1
Speak Now (Taylor's Version): 5
RED (Taylor's Version): 7
