I'm not sure what to think... on one hand I'm gutted for Keisha! She was the only original member left, and it would have been nice for her to at least finish this era... On the other hand, I am actually quite excited :heehee: I LOVE both Amelle and Heidi (More than Keisha if i'm honest) and I kinda like Jade so it'll be interesting. I'll give this era a go for them see how this line up does (I think it could pleasently shock a few people), Heidi has been a member of the 'babes long enough to carry the name herself I reckon, if Heidi joined 3 albums in then I wouldn't say this, but she's been there since the Sugababes became household names and started having their first number 1's etc...

 

But yeah, I'm not gonna judge until I've heard some proper material from this new line-up, and like I said, gutted Keisha has been fired :(

She's a replacement. I lashed out something rotten at Amelle until i heard her version of Red Dress.

 

Until i hear the material, Jade is not a Sugababe as far as i am concerned.

 

Say what you want, but i have the right to react to this news in whatever manor i wish, and if right now i hate Jade then that's how it's gonna go.

No way should this be blamed on Jade! The girls done nothing wrong other than taking a golden opportunity which i doubt any female artist heading for a flop album would refuse.

Phil is sort of mourning. If you get what I mean. The thing is though it wouldn't have mattered if they moved to a different label because the problems between them would've still been there.

Who knows. With a 3 album deal to see out this maybe there Destiny's Child DC=3 moment and they might now become the big thing.

Her rant against Amelle did her over and her boyfriend making out anyone but Keisha could be replaced on his Twitter page. There US label must have been thinking all sorts.

Whether you like it or not, Jade IS a member of the band the sugababes now! She's been hired as a member so therefore IS a member :blink:

 

Just because your upset Keisha's left you need to grow up and grow some balls and stop acting the way you are! Like i've said already, yeah it's sad shes been fired etc...But you don't just get fired for no reason, not from a normal job, let alone the most successful girlband of the 21st century! So lets wait and see what happens and comes out and then re-evaluate the situation.

To be honest I sympathise with Silas. If you remove all three components that made up the original item, then the original item seizes to exist.

 

The Sugababes are not a football team, or a business organisation, so out of respect to their fans the least they can do is rename the girl-group, otherwise I think they are insulting that original fanbase.

 

 

 

 

As someone who has been a fan since One Touch and a fan that felt Mutya's departure made the group not half as good I think Keisha being gone means it'd be stupid to call themselves the Sugababes now. :blink: The last album was rubbish and both the singles are rubbish (especially the rather desperate sounding Get Sexy) they should just call it a day before they become a complete joke imo or maybe it's too late now. -_-

But if we're expected to accept Heidi and Amelle as suitable replacements (i.e. the band is still as good with Heidi as it was with Siobhan), doesn't that make them AS competent, and AS vaild members as the originials?

They need time out to gel as a group too...and come up with a new lead single, and album change of name, and even a change of girlgroup name, so that they aren't a brand. Just call themselves Sugas 4.0 ;p

I cannot even begin to described how f***ed off I am about this...

 

First of all, if they DARE be called the Sugababes now I'm going to be ANGRY. They just CANT.

 

It just makes literally no sense to me at all, surely they realise they're going to lose their entire fan base?!

For me personally each line up is a different group. They're all under the same name but I view them each differently. Its quite sad that the label owns the name basically have let each girl know that they're disposable.

Its so sad cos they actually used to have some sort of credibility one time...

That's what I was thinking they should rebrand their name. I wouldn't be surprised if the original members decided to team up again over this but that remains doubtful. But they wouldn't be allowed to use the band name Sugababes which in a way is rightfully theirs. Somehow that didn't make much sense but I'm tired, but hopefully you can read between the lines what I'm trying to say.
