I thought Cheryl was decent - after the cock up she made of The Promise last year I was fearing the worst.

Whitney however - compelling car crash tv

As for those of you who still think Alexandra Burke sung live, live on the show last week instead of using a pre recorded live vocal track .....

Alexandra Burke - Bad Boys - T4

A very good, very impressive vocal performance but with much much less dancing. Why she did not do that last Sunday remains a mystery to me.

Weird, I haven't watched the two performances side by side, but I think she does just as much dancing in that video (apart from the lift at the end) and her vocals sound no worse to me here.

As for 'Cheryl showing Alexandra how it should be done'. Let's say Alexandra did mime of pre-recorded live vocals, what's saying Cheryl didn't as well? Is it because her voice sounded worse? I think that might be because her voice is worse and that while Alexandra can pull off a polished 'live' vocal if it's pre-recorded, Cheryl's one was only going to be as good as Cheryl can sing live. (not very) So her average vocal on the recording made it seem like it was more like than Alex's.

Whitney was nuts and rude (but funny) about the contestants. I thought her performances was good, despite the dress falling apart, her singing the opening line too early and general breathlessness. Certainly pleased she performed the single over the drippy "I Look To You".

Although there's no way Rachel will survive a third week in the bottom two, at least not for the next two or three weeks. Her song choices need to improve drastically.

Agreed about her song choices. "With Or Without You" and "Nobody Knows" were brilliant performances and suit her so much more than Beyoncé type stuff. I think she shines with a more gritty vocal, I've enjoyed her bottom two performances and "Last Request" at boot camp more than anything else she's done.

They need to move past the "she looks like Rihanna so let's give her R&B diva numbers" and take a closer look at the songs she picked for herself in the past.

I know Wasteoflife performing at some point was a given, but Michael Boobhead as well? Why can't they get genuinely interesting and exciting stars to perform?

Good on Cheryl for the bitchy comment.

IMO she was spot on.

Lloyd - Bleeding Love 3.5

Well it is certainly Bleeding something. It sounded like a tepid Paolo Nutini meets James Morrison. It really is a joke/insult to the other 3 Boys who lost out that he made the final 12. But Cheryl put his fellow Geordie through because she knows he will hoover up the Eggnog vote.

As for Cheryl Cole's fakery attempt at gaining sympathy. :puke: :manson:

 you know Llyod's welsh right? unless your referring to Joe and i'm just really sleepy

Rikki - Respect 2.0

No. If he was performing in my local pub's lounge side of the pub, I'd go next door to the sports side of the pub to escape. Another reason why us English should allow the Scots independence, so we don't have to put up with $h!t like him, McD Bros & Leon Jackson.

Can't speak for the Scots, but i sure as hell don't wanna put up with utter $h!te like these 3.

Maybe we should gift them to the US, Ireland or Wales.

Preferably the latter, teach them to screech on my tv.

Best? Hmm.... Olly. And Jamie's great if he can get rid of the annoying wavering in his voice which grates on me. Stacey was great in parts - but she's even more annoying than those vile twins (who are clearly the best advert for abortion ever).
i don;t think i have ever laughed so much at a post.

LOL at Cheryl stans blinded by loondom who cant even see that her vocal wasnt great at all... good dancing and set though.

SO glad Rikki went, despise him and that vile eyebrow. I'm warming to the twins now LOL although Cheryl's bitchy little comment was quite amusing.

59% of why i hate Fight For This Love is that hideous outfit in the video that she performed in yesterday.
Incredible ratings last night - a record peak audience of 14.8m, 50% audience share, highest ever for the programme!

Interesting.

Someone on my course knows Lucie from back home and apparently she is a complete bitch. Why am i not surprised?

It's best not to trust hearsay James :heehee: Of course people are going to say that. She's probably bitter about being stuck in Stoke On Trent whilst Lucie gets to inhale Dannii's sweet scent on a weekly basis.

Exactly. Imagine what you would say if Jark was there, James.

Oh lord, don't plant ideas in his head. No doubt when I'm in a high-profile profession which involves me swimming in MILL $ BILLS Jamesp will be telling the press about the time I got paraletically drunk and did all sorts of weird shit I can't even recall. :(

So glad Rachel stayed, she definetly has the potential. I really hope to god she isn't bottom two next week, she definetly doesn't deserve to when theres worse talented (namely John & Edward, Lloyd and Danyl). Rikki was alright but I was expecting him to go, suprised Miss Frank weren't bottom two really! Glad they weren't though. They just seem to get overshadowed imo by the bigger characters, same goes for Rachel. :( Agreed Rachel needs to have better song choices though, if they get it right I'm sure it will work for her ... well I'm hoping it will.

As for Cheryl's performance, I thought it was okay. It wasn't as bad as I admittedly thought it was going to be but her vocals were still rather $h!t, nice set and dancing though! Whitney was just hilarious <3. It was so awkward when she was just looking down at the floor when Dermot was talking to her, haha.

I thought what was there that she stares at the floor. Robbie seemed to be on drugs last week performing, so as Whitney this time. WTF is happening?! LOL

X Factor contestant Rachel Adedeji has attracted interest from US music scouts who work for Rihanna, according to a report.

Adedeji is currently being lined up for duets with the 'Umbrella' singer and R&B star Akon, The Sun claims.

A source said: "Rachel is hugely excited. She couldn't believe there was that level of interest in her. She loves Rihanna and even modelled her looks and hairdo on her."

It is thought that the developments came after last year's winner Alexandra Burke spoke to US record chiefs about Rachel.

The insider continued: "Alex has been instrumental, and vouched for Rachel's talent and capability. It's not a done deal by any means, but it would be a huge break. Rachel's very nervous about working with such big stars."

Adedeji was saved in the sing-off for the second time in two weeks on last night's X Factor results episode.

:w00t:

Rihanna and Rachel are meant to be collabing.
Rachel <3. I love her, please let her have a epic performance and survive this week. :(
