October 20, 200916 yr Alexandra was #1 last week, Cheryl is going to be #1 this week. Alexandra's huge sales were last week, Cheryl's are huge this week. Well, Alexandra's sales are still huge this week: 90k which they are going to be by Sunday is an excellent result. It's just those enormous sales like 187k in a week or 134k in two days confuse it all up.
October 20, 200916 yr all i want to know is if cheryl will be number 1! hehe im in a state of panic lol
October 20, 200916 yr all i want to know is if cheryl will be number 1! hehe im in a state of panic lol I said yes, as did a couple of others. Look at the first post it has the positions.
October 20, 200916 yr Miley Cyrus for 244,000 first day sales next week That would be a crime against music Wow at Cheryl's sales, only 53k off already of Alexandra's last week's total :o
October 20, 200916 yr Is cheryl number 1! will alexandras sales for last week count in this weeks chart (187K)! becuase that would mean she would be in the lead becuase she has sold another 43k! In a weekly chart everyone starts with 0 sales. What you mean is the Year to date chart, but there is Lady Gaga - Poker Face number one with more than 800k sales.
October 20, 200916 yr I'm gobsmacked at Cheryl's sales, :o I think she will be herself as well, to be honest it's not that good a ditty, but the massive airplay and media hype has helped her enormously. Good luck to her though, she might do over 200k this week. Edited October 20, 200916 yr by suggy

October 20, 200916 yr Oh the irony of Cheryl knocking Alexandra off the Number 1 spot! I wonder what Alexandra makes of her former mentor denying her two weeks at the top! It's quite funny when you think about it
October 20, 200916 yr The last time two number 1s sold over 100k in consecutive weeks, that weren't Comic Relief or re-issues of old songs, was way back in 2002  Happened loads of times in that year but the most recent was with Nelly and Kelly's 'Dilemma' selling 129k and DJ Sammy's 'Heaven' selling 119k!
